koko, I hear ya. Our matchup just isn't that hyped for obvious reasons. Florida vs. Alabama is one hell of a game to be at this weekend, and I'll be certainly be watching this one closely. I absolutely have to make a play on this game, be it large or small, but I can't make a decision. I'm honestly leaning UF at this point. All things being equal, I lean towards the better quaterback.
The sad thing is, it is not only the SEC Championship tickets.. I paid $250 each for the VT vs Bama tickets at the begginning of the year in the Dome... Pretty sad when I pay $1200 a year per season ticket and for the VT and UF games I paid $600 per ticket

koko, that is incredible. I paid roughly $900 for two season tickets to Longhorn games. I do get a discount for being a part of Texas Exes, but I don't think it's that much. You must have some awesome seats!

Orangeblood, I agree 100% hence my statement "I would rather eat my own shit then watch Nebraska's offesnse when I have money on them!" statement in a different thread.
Anyway gl and have fun at the game!

I agree with your write up. I am actually going to put a large play on the overs at 43. That Texas offense is really going to go after it for Colt's Heisman chances. Number 3 offense vs number 3 defense in the nation. Should be a great match up. I'm planning on some defensive scoring and a possible Shipley special teams TD. Need Nebraska to chip in 10 or so and the Horns should get the rest.

They are alright seats, lower level on the 25....The season tickets go all the way up to $3400 at Bama which is in a place called the Zone.. .It is airconditioned box like but it is not private.. I have sat there before, pretty nice but they are in the end zone, which I do not like.. The reason they are so high is because Bama is the dominate team in the state with no NFL team...Auburn didn't even sell all their season tickets this year and if you wanted them you could get them for about a 3rd of what I pay...

I always wondered how an NFL team would do in Birmingham. My guess is it would be very successful. Any thoughts?

GL, and glad you joined the forum. I'm on our Horns as well. Most cappers on here know that I don't take them every game, in fact I posted something for the Tx Tech game encouraging them not to jump on TX for the revenge factor. But, I really love the perspective of this game. I agree, except I had the number at 24. I think it's a 24-7 game. I think because of the TAM game, everyone is suspect of TX defense. Can't say I blame them, but I know this team. The D will show up for this game.

COLT McCOY wins the HEISMAN Saturday nite at the DEATH STAR in the TRUE MISMATCH of the weekend. Look at the psychological advantages for Texas compared to the Children of the Corn. Offensively, Defensively, Special Teams, Intangibles, and most importantly, COACHING!!
TEXAS romps except possibly, for a FUTURE Heisman candidate, #22 Rex Burkhead, freshman RB from Plano, on the Cornhuskers, who America will find out about late Sat Nite. This kid is a SPECIAL FOOTBALLER who lacks size but not HEART!! And he is FUN to watch play.
Go LONGHORNS but watch out for Nebraska's real offensive weapon, #22 in Big Red.
