After losing at home, no...but Bama fans wont agree...rest of college football would agree...

Wont matter though...LSU wins by 10+

Bama lost at home...

Now LSU is on turf with a crowd in their favor instead of 95/5 against...

Lee wont see the field...

LSU will win and go down as one of the best teams of all time

Who should be?

There is a big difference between losing to the #1 team in a close game and having Iowa St end your season.

This would have been a great year for a playoff

BAMA already lost to LSU...So this game is meaningless if BAMA wins..!  They should share the title as co-champions..!

Whoever wins the game, is the BCS Champion. PERIOD.

National Champion, now that is debatable only if Bama wins.

You should probably read his comment again before calling him the bozo.

Game is on field turf and there will not be a 95% Alabama crowd - like the first matchup -Tomorrow night Bozo.

The winner of the BCS Championship game is the undisputed BCS National Champion.  All conferences agreed to play by that format.  The rules aren't going to be changed at the end of the season because the team that a few panzies wanted to win got their ass kicked.

Maybe next season we can get all of the conferences agree to not keep score anymore, an we'll give all 120 BCS teams participation trophies.  That should assuage all the panzies who think it's not fair that teams have to win Super Bowls and championship games to actually win a championship.

If that was in any way relevant, then you would have a point.  But because it isn't, you don't.  The path a team took to reach the championship game (and not just college football but any sport) is completely inconsequential.  That argument is no more valid than arguing that the New England Patriots are the 2008 Super Bowl Champs or "split" 2008 Super Bowl Champs even though they lost the game.

Every sport of the face of the earth has a championship game, and at no time in the history of mankind dwelling upon this earth has a team who lost a championship game been declared a champion or a "split" champion in anything. Such a notion is ludicris beyond comprehension, and anyone who makes such patently absurd argument shows themselves to be a complete fool.

Hey Jimmy are you saying if Alabama loses LSU will be the better team no matter the box score or will we hear your whiny ass cry about how Bamas third string offensive guard pulled a ligament in his pinkie finger so he wasn't able to give the scout team a good enough run against the starting defense.

Well, I hate the Tide but even though they lost to LSU earlier in the year, that wasnt the BCS Championship.  This game is, so, if by some chance Bama can pull it out (which I seriously doubt), why wouldnt they be the champs?  How bout pro football where a team can lose to another but beat them in the playoffs??  I still think the BCS system sucks!!!
