My thing is you take the 2 score lead and let your defense keep doing its thing.

As a coach you (often) make decisions based on 'feel'....

Here TT took a risk - feeling they could put the game away with a score - knowing BYU can't keep pace anyway.  He also was no doubt frustrated with too many RZ failures - way too many FG's.  He's also thinking ahead to future games, trying to build confidence.
