Never thought I would agree with Scalabrine on much of anything....but money trumps political views every time.

Waiting until kickoff to bet Rutgers....want to see if that late money drives us to the pk level.

No one likes to put their money on this guy. I understand that.

He'll do his job this week. If he didn't, I wouldn't have posted this.

I would dispute that the public is on Rutgers. They almost never are and the line opened at 3.5 and moved to 2.5. So unless that's reverse line movement, the public is liking Michigan at 3 and 3.5.

    Appreciate the write up but...

How about for michigan being motivated not to be known as the worst squad in the entire programs history?  A program that has the winningest program in cfb history?

How about giving the entire national media and cfb world a big Fck you by stomping out Rutgers?

Michigan will be plenty motivated for this game won't want to lose 3 in a row.  People who watched the ND game knew this team was not good yet it took Vegas till after the Minnesota game to finally adjust and I think this is an over adjustment.  Rather than thinking black after 5 consecutive reds on the wheel, its more of a solid buy-low opportunity on michigan. Gary nova should not be favored over anybody.  Interception machine. Can't throw to anyone except #4.  Gardners nothing special either but getting benched last week should be a wake up call

The mere fact that mich is an underdog will motivate these shiiitheads and I'm expecting a fuking win to get out of the gutter. We're on the edge and falling off if we lose Rutgers.  It won't happen.

How in the world will they be plenty motivated?

What are the odds Brady Hoke had been meticulously game planning for this Saturday as he stood at a podium most of the week deflecting questions about bringing harm to one his own players (not to mention sitdowns with the President of the University)?

The team just isn't that good and I've never seen their home games emptier by halftime.

The floodgates have been broached. Three losses in a row. Four in a row. A 4 win season. Who knows? They already did something they haven't done in 135 years. What does a loss to Rutgers matter? The season is a complete disaster and more losses will hasten Hoke's departure and benefit the program in the long run.

And I don't understand how you can disparage Nova when your stater is a player who the head coach opted to leave on the bench as the starter in the last game leaned on an OLineman to keep his balance because he couldn't tell you what day of the week it was.

Nova is the best Rutgers has EVER had at QB and despite the turnovers, he will have enough to win this one. He has an arm. He can scramble. He can move the ball downfield. That, and the rest of this team looking for its first Big ten win ever will be enough to win and cover. After the Penn State debacle, they will be looking for redemption in a big way, at home no less with two priming games in Navy and Tulane in their back pocket.

That us FAR more motivation from Rutgers end than Michigan's end to  a bad season from getting worse (and after that September, does anyone think much is salvageable?).

A 2.5 pt dog is not a true 'dog' in any way either. It's not even a FG.
