Miami has played one of the most difficult schedules in the nation
They have more weapons on the outside and will have a healthy Duke Johnson who is the most explosive offensive player on the field.
Canes young defense is coming around and went toe to toe with FSU just fell apart in the 4th quarter prior to that held N. Carolina (a team that put the beats on VTEch) to 18 pts. Ultimately losing when there starting qb was knocked out the game in the 4th 18-14.
VTech has the worse offense they have fielded in 8 years. Young backs who aren't overly explosive and wrs who aren't big play threats.
Tech also does not field it's usual playmakers on defense and hasn't stopped any one all year. They don't pressure the qb or force turnovers. This is great news for a young Miami team with one of the best offenses in the ACC. Biggest mismatch will be Miami's wr vs Techs seondary.
Miami also will play Tech even in the special teams area which is annually a huge advantage for Tech but not so much for Tech against any one this year.
Remember...Miami was beating VTech last year and end up losing on a damn draw on a 4th a goal from the 19 yd line in which logan thomas. scored. No such luck tonight.
