Da U are turing into UM the University of Medicority. While this is a meaningful game for both team I have a large lean on the team I consider to be the more talented and better coached team needing a SU win.
Preseason VT was top 15 program with some potential. Now I don't alwats beleive Parcells quote you are what your record says you are as I think this team has talent and Beamer vs. an undiscplined and less talented team not to mention an poor coah in Al Golden who is an impressive 8-10 2 games under .500 which on South Beach should get you fired in most cases.
VT comes in 0-4 SU on the road and off a blowout at Clemson but we the national audience saw last week how talented the Tigers are on both sides of the ball. 0-4 is 0-4 but the perception took a while to change as not even a month ago the books had them a 7 point favorite on the road vs. a undefeated Cincy team. Cincy now 5-2 lost to a strong mac team toledo who is 8-1 and an undefeated Louisville team in a hearbreaker last Friday.
Tech is 3-2 in the ACC coastal and if they can turn things around win this game and win vs. BC and Virgina to finish out they have a acc title game and a slim chance at an automatic bcs bid. ( FSU or Clemson route them again IMO ) as they will have wins over Duke and tonight vs. the Canes making them the winners in a tiebreaker. ( UNC cannot play in post season play ).
Niether team can run the ball so I will stop with this stat. Miami is 119/120 in all FBS allowing 249+ ypg on the ground. Edge VT
Coaching please Al Golden plain and simple is a worse verison of Randy Shannon and I think we will see that the end of this year and downhill slope next year. Last 3 games 15/28 1/2 26/49 354 2/1 17/30 242 1/2. Not great and I would like to see the picks be lower but 13/10 ratio and I think this team can run on Miami. Stephen Morris ahh whoa what a game 566 yards passing 5TD/1int vs. NC state. take those numbers out. He pretty much below avg. 153/262 1648 years and *5/6 ratio. * indicates a completely meaningless td when fsu was counting down the seconds for an a win. so Last 3 games 25/43 223* ( 65 yards meanign on the last 2 minutes drive) *0/1 12/26 155/02 and 18/35 201 0/0 alot of meaningless yards vs. ND.
