Who have the huskies played this year at home..SDS and Port St..lol? Come on guys, Stanford virgin QB proved his mettle under home crowd expectations burden in the biggest game of his life till date while being compared to Luck. This kid went toe to toe with USC...No one would have faulted him even if he had lost that game.
Stanford restricted USC to 14 points, and SDS scored 12 points against WASH on the road.
On the other hand, underdogs are covering midweek when thats the only game available to bet on.

Stanford wins this by 2 TDs.

Nunes looks less like a rookie after each week, and after a game vs USC ... this will be a cake walk for him, and i doubt very very very much he will even be rattled

Zoot,
Offshore a few places have it at -6. If it comes up hare at 6, I'm going to grab some more. I think it's amazing that they're getting equal action at 6 1/2. The same thing happened to me last week on Nevada. I had them beating Hawai'i bad and when the # which opened at 10, got down to 8 1/2, I jumped on it. They still bat it down to 7. Hawai'i got crushed. Looks like the same thing here this week.

WISEGUY36, sorry if i'm not helping you sleep well at nite.
i just get a little timid when i see a road favorite where it seems like the public is hammering and the line is moving against it.
game is being played where the Seahawks play FYI, not sure that means anything though.
I sleep very well at night. I think it's important to know that I don't make my college football investment decisions on " public perception".In fact, most of the time I'm on the other side of the public.I have a pretty strict criteria that I use to make a selection. and where the money is not part of that criteria.I you use that as your basis for a wager, or a "trend " you have forfeited your betting edge.Playing in that stadium can only motivate Stanford players on what it will be like when they play in the NFL.

It won't matter.........LY Luck went 16-22/169 while they put up 446 yds rushing (10.1 ypc)..........they will likely have similar #'s Thurs. night.
Mugg,
#1. That game was at home and IMO Washington's defense was much worse than it is now with the new coordinator. #2. They had Luck. A big part of Stanford's run game success the last few years was Luck. Teams were scared of this guy and had to cover the pass so there were miles of room to run. Plus Tree is missing two high NFL picks on the line. So far Stanford has run for 3.5 YPC and 3.8 YPC against the likes of SJSU and Duke. They looked to get better against USC but take out one breakaway 59 yard run and they were under 4.0 YPC again. When your QB stinks teams will stuff the box to contain the run and try to make the kid beat them. That's exactly what Washington will do IMO.

Huskies D is a little better than it was LY but it's still far from good. They played well vs SDSU & PS but it was glaringly obvious vs LSU that they still aren't in the class of the upper echelon teams as far as size & depth.............& the OL might be good when they're healthy. Trust me, as a Huskies fan I'd love to say they could win this game.........but I've seen this a lot in the L5 years.........they just don't have the horses up front to compete with good OL's & DL's..........& it hurts them. I didn't think losing Polk would hurt this much but it does. Price is an excellent qb but can't carry this team. A lot will have to happen for the Dawgs to stay in this game.
