hey guys, I’m a Gators fan my whole life and got my master’s degree there. Our QB (Mertz) is out and our team is an embarrassment this year. I’m aware Jordan Travis is out as well but FSU only predicted to win by 5 or 6 is pretty crazy to me. I see this being a 41-24 game for FSU… haven’t seen the over/under but this game will hit at least 60 points. UF’s defense is mediocre, I would be SHOCKED if UF even kept this game within 7 points. Yes I know the game is in the Swamp as well but FSU has a loaded offense, UF’s qb is out & out defense is atrocious. Look into getting FSU at a -5 or better and go over on the total if it’s less than 60.

It'll be lower scoring than people think, but FSU will win this game even with a very green QB. Napier can and will absolutely find a way to lose to anyone in any game, just go watch the arkansas game again. FSU defense will do enough to limit Florida in this game and enough on the other side it will be easier for them to move the ball and score than UF. Florida's coaching staff is the worst iv'e ever seen in the SEC and that's impressive after watching the bad hires before at UF and teams like Tennessee, Miss State etc. over the last decade..
The only down sides for FSU is the environment will be insane for the new QB to play in, and FSU has had trouble running the ball all year. But I bet they will finally be able to do it against this absolutely dreadful defense.

Well, I think the Gators win. I actually think they would've upset them prior to the QB injuries. That only solidified it. Max Brown adds a scrambling element that Mertz doesn't. ETN, Tre Wilson, and Pearsall will have monster nights. The Swamp will be electric causing a lot of issues for FSU. False starts, turnovers, etc.
But we'll see... I'll be there seeing 1st hand. I'll be driving about 5 hours round trip...wouldnt do it for an anticipated L. I don't have time for that these days. The only other game I've been to this year was Tennessee.

Lol I do have the slightest idea that this could be quite the homer take.....however, I do think Florida will be able to possibly keep it close but to say Florida has solidified an upset is way too strong of a take. Florida has found a way to ruin almost everything they have had going all year. Maybe they get up for the rivalry, and smell blood in the water with Travis out. I do think the Gators are a live dog and think they can possibly win now with Travis being out, but solidified, not quite.
