The Louisville 2nd half bet also deals with the reality that Louisville has the better offense and defense, and they are likely to pull away in the 2nd half.

Thoughts on Miss State?? Liking them at the half against UAB.. The game against Southern Alabama might be a nice spot to play against them next week when they have LSU on deck..

I can't lay 4 touchdowns with Mississippi State, and it's difficult to get a feel for UAB after only 1 week. Clearly they are a much improved team. Dan Mullen, however, does seem to like to blow out the lesser competition on their schedule.
I have no feel for this game whatsoever. Gun to my head I would probably lean ever so slightly to UAB.

As with any Rich Rod coached team, the question will be "can they play any defense?" Last year they made big strides defensively, but they have to replace half of that defense this season.
It appears Rich Rod has settled on his redshirt freshman Anu Soloman to be his QB, and it seems he played fairly well in week 1, albeit against UNLV. Things will be much tougher for Solomon this week when he faces a very experienced UTSA team on the road in a nationally televised game.
I think Arizona will continue to be a middle of the road PAC 12 team. They've gone 8 & 5 the past two seasons under Rich Rod, and that feels about right again this season.
Even though laying road chalk on weeknight games is typically a losing wagering proposition, I like the Wildcats Thursday night because I don't think UTSA has the offense to keep pace. UTSA victory over Houston was the result of 6 turnovers, not because their offense was able to consistently and efficiently move the ball.

That is when I'm betting an underdog will win the game straight up. See my Georgia Southern UDML bet from week one. I had Georgia Southern +900 to beat NC State straight up. They ended up losing 24-23 in the waning seconds of the game.

Glad to see you snagged MSU at 13.5. It is down to 12 and I won't be surprised if it goes to 11 or 10 by kickoff. You probably should have bought the hook to +14 just in case though.

These types of lines moves are the result of touts jumping on a particular side. All of today's line moves were reactions to tout plays. Last night they correctly jumped on Louisville, and push the line to 6 at some shops before kickoff.
