There is so much parity in the NFL that it's such a crap shoot.  As a bettor I rarely feel like I have the advantage.  I will occasionally bet when I feel really good about something.  For example, I bet the Giants in the playoff last season all the way through the Super Bowl.

As you know, I said before the season that Auburn was a tire fire, and I think that is quite apparent now.  They have some deep-seeded problems at Auburn, and the biggest one is he who waves the towel.  They need to wipe the slate clean and start over.  They need to hire a top-notch coaching staff that can recruit.  If they do that I think they'll have a chance to be competitive in the West in 2-3 years.  It's not going to happen with the current regime, and it's not going to happen overnight.

Tennessee/Florida is a very interesting game.  Right now, I'm like you, I would lean Tennessee.  From what I've seen I think Tennessee can compete with the Gators in the trenches, and they certainly have more offensive firepower.

I would have played the Bama UNDER down to 50, which is where I thought the line should have been all along.

@Jimmy -- I was at the Auburn/MSU game this weekend and Frazier is hands down the worst QB in the SEC.  He had -2 passing yards in the first half.  If you bring a blitz against him he is going to screw up.  He looked so bad in the pocket.  With that being said, I think Auburn has a decent defense and will be okay by the middle of the season, but if they don't figure out something on offense quickly it is going to be a LONG season!

I agree.  I harped on this all preseason.  I said their offense would be horrendous, that they don't have a SEC caliber QB or tailback on the roster, and that they have have spread personnel trying to run a pro-style, smash-mouth attack.  Nothing about that formula spells success.  That's why I have bet under their team and game totals the first two weeks of the season, and will continue to do so until the books adjust.

I post my Saturday plays on Friday.  Hopefully it'll be a little earlier Friday than it was this past week.

Sometimes I start my thread earlier if I play a weekday game.

A good thing I didn't play NFL yesterday.  I really liked Buffalo and New Orleans!!!

Auburn wont be down for  2-3 yrs..It was long ago where us Auburn folks begged Al NOT to hire Rodrego bc it wasnt fun just beating on Bammers..Mal damn tried..2-3 yrs ..U must have lost ur mind..It wasnt  long ago u were Auburn s lil bitch,,It all goes in cycles.Next time Auburn wins a few yrs they are gonna keep the foot down on the rednecks from Eutaw..Can u tell Im a little  irritated.?Chizik will get it figured out,but if he doesnt ByE..2-3 yrs ..sure

Nothing woud give me more pleasure than to see Oregon beat Bammers in Miami..that would be like .5 Nat Title..Auburn will get their shit together and if they dont my boy Lowder will whip out that checkbook ,write Chizik a chk to go away.have Petrino give an apology for being a dumbass then pay him 4mill a yr and Auburn will be right back in Bama s face.Make no mistake about it ,Im no where near ready to give up on Chizik but Auburn folks dont give a fck about National Title if the team is tripping over each other out there.Did State look good?not really which makes it worse.I assure u if Auburn plays like they did last Sat they will lose again.I cant believe Auburn is a 17 fav.

I hear what you are saying, but right now they need players, chiefly a SEC caliber QB.  So however long it takes Auburn to recruit and develop one of those, that's how long it'll be before they'll be a factor again.  At this point I think they need to seriously consider going the JUCO route.

I also don't think they will ever realize their potential as long as Chizik and Taylor are on the coaching staff.  They have proven that they cannot retain and develop the talent they recruit.

I could be wrong.  It wouldn't be the first time, but I just don't see it.

  Ndame-MichSt and Tn-Fl games are tough games to call...Both are games in my opinion if u chose to play u do it an hr before kick off.Ive had a lot of luck in these 2 games in the past.Great call on the other side of Troy Sat.Im sure the day I play most of ur picks u will blow ur nuts.

I'm very interested to what your honest opinion is with the oversigning that the sec has done?  I'm very ignorant to this because I dont want to believe it.  My opinion is that if this is really going on this is clearly a competetive advantage.  Once again I am referring to Bama obviously but wanted you opinion.  I really dont know much about it because I dont know what to believe. 

Does saban really cut guys?

Not trying to bust your chops but do you finally believe that Michigan has problems? Air Force almost got it done against them. I thought their defense would be much better and DR is one dimensional. I think they are in for a long year.
