Explain to me how Clemson is a dog at home to UGA

Ive noticed in all these clemson gonna beat uga threads that no one's mentioned the loss of hopkins and ellington there 2 best weapons last year.,, everybody seems to think it is even on iffense but i beleive uga has the edge on offense clearly

It is amazing that most of the people are on Clemson and think that Georgia's defense will be weak. They have a bunch of young players on D, but they still return 5 people with starting experience. Georgia easily wins this one 35-21.

i expect watkins and multiple jr/sr wr's to fill the void.

ellington was explosive but there are 3 backs that had significant carries who will platoon to fill the shoes.

the most important things to consider are boyd and watkins back, and watkins now healthy.

Dont forget Georgia lost by 4 to that crappy Alabama team.

why isn't anybody talking about how the Georgia D...
  *about the 6th best in SEC......giving up almost 1200 yds rushing their last 4 games........

Losing TEN defensive players to the NFL?
  *7 drafted + 3 FA

i hear ya - but special teams count.

It is within the realm of possibility for Clemson to lose the game - even tho at +1.5 I would bet Clemson.

and the title of the thread is

"how can Clemson be a dog" not who is gonna win. 

odds are Clemson will win IMO.

BUT

to answer the question asked - they are a small dog at home because they almost beat Bama (how they did that doesnt matter to most they just see the score) and SEC vs ACC. that is WHY IMO even if it makes no sense.

 Georgia is favored because of physicality and run game!!  I agree SEC vs ACC has some to do with it!!

Clemson caught LSU when 9 players on defense were going pro as mostly underclassmen. Do you think they played all out??? or didnt wanna get hurt and cost themselves money???

Easy answer to that question!!!!  Plus the 2 biggest defensive  draftees to be..... didnt even play 2 quarters of game!!!

You can use that game as a plus for clemson if you wanna but its like driving a vehicle over quick sand  STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!
