Hey guys let me just say I live in the deep south (Mississippi) and I don't know squat about the Big Ten.  But these are two pretty good teams and this game intrigues me.  I know Nebraska is 5-0 and beat Miami by 10, but for some reason I don't trust this team.  And even though Sparty had a melt down in the 2nd half out at Eugene, I expect them to win by 10-14 points.  Please give me some reasons why Nebraska will win or why Mich St will win.  I have it as MSU -11.  But I need some expert opinions.  Thanks!

Because Nebraska never beat Top 10 team since 2007, back in Big 12 conference.  Coaches and players are very anxious to get "that" signature win!!! I believe they win outright..Michigan St. can have that 8 pts

No chance I could back Pelini here. Line drop is curious.

I love the under. Nebraska will run the bad even if they are getting stuffed. MSU will also find it a little tougher sledding than they are used to.

Okay ... so you are saying they really want to win this game.  Okay.  I imagine MSU also wants to win the game (at home).  But can you tell my WHY Nebraska has not beaten a top 10 team in 8 years and why they will accomplish that this week?

Thanks Train.  So I guess this is a no play for you except for the UNDER.  ?

Michigan State 4th in nation at defending the run. Better coach, better QB, better defense.

Michigan State wins 31-17. You're on the right side & I agree with your thoughts. Nebraska's first real test on the road. McNeese State ran for 178 on Nebraska....Michigan State should have success on the ground, setting up the play-action for underrated WR Lippett. Michigan State or no play.

Nebraska has a first round NFL running back in Abdullah. I expect a ground game from both complemented by short passes. That will use up a lot of clock.

Oregon exposed MSU's lack of speed and conditioning. I don't know much in the Nebraska speed and conditioning department.

I'm seeing 63% of money on Sparty but line has gone down from 8 to 7.

i don't like neb's qb, at least if he's forced to throw.  i think MSU will be able to slow down the run and Neb's QB will be forced to make some throws, i'm not sure he can do it...

now, i'm not a big fan of laying the 7 or 8 here though, i would tease this game down to a pick um, or better.   this game will be in my big 13 point 4 team teaser this week.

    Good game for sure.

MSU; better offense than last year but failed against Ducks in second half. Defense is NOT as good as last year. Allowed Wyoming to on score to big plays. Eastern Mich scored too. Ducks embarassed them in second half.

Neb; Offensive clicking. Has had success running against MSU. They have had the most success against MSU than any other Big Ten team. Defense is good, but not great.

    Intangables

MSU; won Big Ten and Rose Bowl last year. Now defending their deserved ranking. It's a home game. Beat Neb in Lincoln last year. Offense better taking some pressure off of defense.

NEB; out rushed MSU last year. Lost because of turnovers. Talked over the summer that they are tired of 9-4 records. Beat Miami. Offense clicking the best since National Championship team from the 90's. They are hungry!

I believe close game and took the 8.0 points on Monday.

Much won't change this year and the Bo will be prepared and the play book will open up this week! Sparta has already opened there play book to the fullest against Oregon and Bo will have somthing drawn up as always to contain there so called elite passing game...And to be honest with you i believe we have better athletes on both sides of the ball but staying away from the BIG GAME CURSE!

7-1 still counting them days of Turner Gill and Tommy Frazier eh. 95% of Husker nation wants Bo gone because he can't win the big one. But this year, THIS YEAR they got Sparty right where they want them on the road at night in East Lansing!!! I applaud Sparty for going out and playing in Oregon, makes every game afterwards easier for them!!!
