Can someone convince me on this over??

UNDER!!! -42.5 on a additional over\under parlay ending play. All LSU does is run the ball, and all ALABAMA does is stop the run, what does that mean? THE CLOCK JUST KEEPS RUNNING!  UNDER! PLEASE!

easy pick here as the under is the right play. if you do not like the under by itself play both team totals under and you should not be any worse than 1-1 as do not see both teams scoring in the 20's.

ala has allowed over 14 points once this season to ga southern when they were playing their "B" team on defense to give them playing time.

lsu has allowed over 10 points 3 times this season to oregon (27), west virginia (21) and arkansas (17).

Throw out the game they played in Alabama, how many points did these two teams score on average?  I mean, you can look at it both ways.  Last game the defenses were able to inflict their will on the offenses.  Players are rested.  Adjustments have been made.  Two coaches have had 6 weeks to figure out the opposing teams defensive schemes. These are potent offenses outside of the game they played previously.  Maybe that was just an anomoly?  Sure looked like one  Easy under you say?  Looking in the rear view mirror it is...

By the same token, both teams had time to study the offenses as well.

Both LSU and Alabama are known for the defenses and a ball-control oriented running game.  LSU might run the spread option so it might have a bit more offensive firepower.  But the bottom line is that neither team really runs up the score much.  Plus, both teams are deathly afraid of giving up easy scores. 

I don't see the rationale for the over unless one team starts to pull away by 2 possessions. Then the trailing team becomes desperate, leading to turnovers and easy scores.
