love houston nutt....gotta be my favorite coach in cfb. t tech gotta be down from having such a great season and left out of everything. already heard a couple of interviews with nutt and some of the ole miss players, they are excited beyond belief to be going to a bowl game this year. they will be up for this big time. dont think t tech will be. nutt will have a few things or two for harrell....i love this game...ole miss large!

Before the start of the season Ole Miss would have been happy to play in ANY bowl game and now they are playing in a New Year’s Day Bowl.They are jacked.
On the other hand Texas Tech is bummed out that not only are they not in the title game after one of the best seasons in their history, but they aren’t even in a BCS game.

Keep in mind that this game is being played in Dallas, Texas, only 5.5 hours from Lubbock. I think there will be quite a bit of Red Raider support there giving Tech a bit of home advantage. Although this does not amount to much it just might make the difference.
