On the other hand Southern Miss very familiar with Houston, and have avergaed about 50 ppg against the Cougars over the last 3 seasons. The Southern Miss defense is also easily the best defense Houston has seen all year. I still think both offenses will be able to score a bunch here.
I haven't advocated a play on Southern Miss. All I said is that I would probably make a small play on them if I could get 14 (which isn't happening). Other than that, I think the very public and square play of the OVER is probably the right side, and the best play.
