I like SD State, should be a close so taking points is wise.  I'm laying off and riding this USC for early game.

SDST OFFENSE 77TH IN PASS AND 42ND IN RUN

AF OFFENSE 107 TH IN PASS AND 2ND IN RUN.

They are home and at -6 I'll go with the falcons

I like the balance that SD could pass if they had too....

Since SD ST has seen option 3 times now they will be ready for it...AF wont convert long 3rd downs...

Plus...2 games i am pretty sure they got 400+ rush yards against two D-3 teams....not impressive

I gotta tell you...you guys made some compelling arguments here and I just locked in my SDSU pick at +7. I will admit my early lean was on AF but when you break it down, I think SDSU has a terrific shot at winning this game outright if they don't turn the ball over in the red zone. I know AF is gonna get theirs on the ground but that is all I have read and seen on the forums today and that is just not enough to back them laying a full TD. BTW....San Diego is the most beautiful place on earth. Don't you guys get sick of perfect weather day in and day out?? LOL. Sure beats Philly...LOL.

I'm nervous about this game. I have Air Force over season total of 7.5 wins. There D can't stop anybody and they have slew of injuires. If I wasn't on that season total I would take SDSU....however that over is juicy

hope you really dont think that they are d-3 where they dont give athletic scholarships.

i do get excited about teams who beat memphis, because i have bet AGAINST memphis every week this year,

4-1 this year doing that.

I was on SDST regardless of this thread but after reading, this is what this forum is for, great insight on both sides of the play. I didn't notice anyone mentioning Air Force has a conference game against a ranked team.......Boise St next week ............not saying its a factor as this is a conference game too or anything but you never know

AF "whooping" powerhouses Tenn St and S Dakota or SD rolling Washington St and hanging with Michigan???

 

I think those dominations of Tenn St and S Dakota state are HUGE WINS

My cousin plays for Eastern Illinois, who plays with Tenn St football....the girls on the EIU rugby team are bigger than the players on the football team....Pretty sure, half the players dont even get scholarships.....

Tenn St is a D-1AA team....my fault...how could i make that mistake in not thinking they are a big win for AF

everyone who plays high profile (D-1A, D-1AA, D-2) football gets some type of scholarship. whether it be a "Full Ride" 100% or fractional, every player on the 95 man roster is getting paid to be there....

Wow, actually I do....I dont consider defensive players at Eastern Illinois who get their lunches paid covered for the semester counting as football scholarships.  I think EIU had 2 players on their football team this year that had "full ride" scholarships. 

If you do more power to you.  By the way, I played baseball for a D-1 school, A REAL D-1 school who played in the College World Series...and when we played teams like Austin Peay, we didnt celebrate those HUGE wins.  It was like practice.
