So far, we have word that 3 (disgruntled?) teams are refusing to participate in Bowls, thus opening the door for 3 undeserving (losing) teams to get in.

Bowl games used to mean something special. Not anymore. The interest has shifted to the playoffs.

surprised The expanded playoffs from 4 teams to 12 has now fully diminished Bowl games into virtually meaningless fodder.

 

Next, playoffs will be increased to 16 teams, and possibly 24 or even 32

Sherrone Moore was in custody in the Washtenaw (Michigan) County Jail on Wednesday night as a suspect in an alleged assault, just hours after he was fired as Michigan's football coach for having what the school said was an "inappropriate relationship with a staff member."
