BeastN.......... I agree. But look at who illonois lost to on the road, drake and southern illonois, just this last month. Don't think that illonois state is a good road team. Also, south Dakotas record is 6 and something so these cats aren't really that good.
It could just be me, but I just don't think Morehead State is any good. They'll have some success in the Ohio Valley b/c half the teams recruit juco talent, and try to recruit athleticism and when you do that, you aren't really built to match up with they're zone if you can't shoot.
Of course, when they play good shooting teams, obviously the ball still has to go through the hoop. That's why they play the game.
If you're taking Murray tonight, you're betting on them putting the ball in the hoop. If you're taking Morehead tonight, you're betting on Murray not putting the ball in the hoop. Sounds stupid and cliche, but that's all this matchup really boils down to.

Neil, I figure UCF controls pace since they are at home.
U said we could watch the Creighton vs MSU game on ESPN 3? Are u u sure about that? I think they only archive games back to one week maximum these days. No more season archives like before.

NRopp- What do you think about the UConn/Cinc. Game?
Think she's a toss-up. Cincy's probably going to shoot quite a bit from the outside if Uconn stays with the zone and they're going to have to shoot it at a high percentage b/c Uconn isn't letting anybody score inside the paint this year with all that size.

Actually, Tenn Tech beat Murray in last year's tourney.
Brain fart.
The spot to fade Murray was against this Tenn Tech team, line open at 13,was quickly bet down to 11,which is what I took,at half was a 3 point game and Murray won by 7 I think, not sure if Murray was ahead by 11 at all, maybe early as Murray got off to a fast start, but Tech fought their way back into it. was able to watch the FH before I had to go to work, was a good one to watch.

thoughts on why northwestern is 10 point dogs to Wisconsin?
It's based on their defense. In terms of stats and numbers, they had a better defense last year and they gave up 78 points both meetings. That doesn't seem all that bad until you see that those games came in at
Game 1) 50 Possessions
Game 2) 56 Possessions
Scary how a team can score that much with so little touches.

Rivalry w/ VCU on tap. Already beat Towson by 37 eleven days ago. Tough for them to get up here. Scored 51 on this trip last year, and while the offense has looked decent for the better part of the past few weeks, this game should have a ton less possessions than those did (I hope). If that's the case, then I got one of the worst offenses in the country in ODU being forced to cover a double digit chalk on the road.
Towson sucks (might be an understatement), but I think the risk is worth it here if Towson can just hold the ball for fear of getting blown out again.

What do you think about Fordham at home against Rhode Island? Fordham has quietly improved tremendously from last year and have some serious revenge against RI after losing to them by like 100 points last year. They also have some serious wins at home. I noticed that money has moved in on RI. What gives?
Thanks man

you mentioned earlier you thought seton hall would get back to playing at a faster pace... combined that with nova's "defense" lately, would you lean to the over in that game?
thanks a lot

Probably but Seton Hall's offense has looked far from pretty on the road outside of the game at Longwood (who is currently the 16th fastest team in the country and the #345 defense as well). Tough call. Pace should be there, though.
