Appreciate all that you do nropp. Whenever I see you on a home pup I pound that game without even thinking. Your record on home teams is quite good since last year! Keep it up. Happy Holidays

Nropp like the card bro...however I have a much different opinion on the Denver vs St Mary's game...didn't realize they return all 5 starters but from a team that went 13-17 that is not too impressive to be returning all those starters in my opinion...
this is my writeup on the game that i posted in my blog...
Ok St Marys -7 tonight vs Denver...Denver is historically a crappy team and was 13-17 last year...These two teams played last year at St Marys and St Mary's won by 30 (77-47)...Out of the top 7 minutes players from last season 6 return for St Mary's...this team was extremely close to making the tourney last year with over 25 wins...but some untimely losses at the end just barely left them out. ...this team has experience and look for them to blast Denver by at least 15 tonight...to set the tone for a season where they could make a splash in the NCAA! I have not done much research on Denver butI know that there were no drastic moves made by them that would make me give them any more credit than the little credit they had last year...
I feel like a prude talking about the game after the fact, and you raise some good points, and yes St. Mary's returned 6 of 7 players, but you are missing the fact that the one player they didn't return was possibly the most important player on any team in the country last year in Mickey McConnell. Not only did he see action 90+% of the time, he was their main scoring threat, and most importantly ball handler and distributor. To put a statistic to it, he assisted on 30% of their scores. When you lose someone like that who not only plays a lot, but scores, and distributes to everyone in that offense, everyone else around him sort of becomes average. With that said, the team is still good, just a nightmare spot they walked into tonight. Schedule sets them up to make the dance, just need a few wins in the Christmas tournament to seal the deal.

Nropp,
Nah man you shouldn't feel like a prude...and I honestly overlooked how much McConnell meant to St Mary's and thought that Stephen Holt would step up a little more then what he did by only providing the 2 points that he contributed tonight! Either way you were spot on about the 3 point shooting of Denver and St Mary's inability to defend it...that was truly a game changer...BOL for the rest of the way man...you are a wiseman and I have been following your selections for two season's now...keep up the good work & thanks for what you do
