11-2 yesterday. It's nice when things go as you think they should.
Wofford/Tennessee Under 155.5
Wofford is replacing nearly all their offensive production from a year ago, and don't have a guy to go to late in the clock like they did with Kahmare Holmes. They went to the DII ranks to try and fill needs, but that isn't going to a pretty process against a Rick Barnes defense. Tennessees roster this year looks very offensive heavy with all the portal gets, but Barnes historically has been a slow tempo coach, there is only one basketball, so until they find their pecking order, offensive possessions could be ugly. Tennessee will get to 85, cause Woffords defense isn't good and are completely outmatched, but its the Terrier offense that I'm assuming doesn't get to 65, let alone 70.
Rhode Island Rams -19.5
Archie Miller doesn't mind running it up on his "buy" games. Last year they beat Stetson by 31, Stonehill by 23, Albany by 19. The year prior, beat Fairfield by 38 in their opener. Holy Cross just doesn't have anyone on their roster that would lead me to believe they can even remotely hang with a team like the Rams. Not that RI are world beaters, but they are going to probably start 4 seniors, and the sophomore score in the portal Deniusas from UT Martin. They should overwhelm the Crusaders on the glass and get everything they want offensively. Plus, Holy Cross plays their Super Bowl vs Villanova next, do they even care what happens tonight?
Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons +9.5
Yes, the Mastodons will desperately miss Corey Hadnot and his 20 ppg last year, he's moved on to Houston. But I think that speaks to how good of a coach Jon Coffman is. Hadnot was a role player his sophomore year, and turned into a top portal get after his junior. They have a returning guard that could be the next Hadnot in Deandre Craig. PFW is a program that has an identity, and that is not something Duquesne can say right now. Tarance Guinyard is NOT eligible to play, so how do the Dukes do offensively when their go to guy is in street clothes?

Is there a more anticipated coaching debut in America? Luke Murray, son of the legendary Bill, finally leaves his nest with Dan Hurley and ventures out on his own. He's widely known as an offensive mastermind, and I think he wants to put a show on in his debut in Chestnut Hill. Give the people something to be excited about. Not to mention Wagner has a first year head coach of its own, who took over last year on an interim basis, and everyone jumped ship in the offseason. The JUCO guys aren't going to know what hit them tonight when they see some of these offensive sets.
South Dakota State Bison +10.5
I'm going to sprinkle this money line too. I have all the respect in the world for Casey Alexander as a coach, but Kansas St was a great job at this time. They had to fork over so much money buy out Tangs contract, it left them a little light in the NIL world. Not to mention, Alexanders offense isn't a simple one to learn, and there is no one on the roster that is familiar with it. This is going to take time to come together. SDSU has a great coach of their own in Bryan Peterson, and last year didn't go the way things usually go in Brookings, so I'd imagine him and his returning guys come out with a chip on their shoulder.
Lipscomb/Iowa Under 146.5
Iowa is having to replace SOOOO much in Bennett Sturtz, Alvaro Folgueiras, and Tavion Banks. With an offense that was already ranked in the slowest 5 teams in the country last year. It's just going to be a defense first mentality for the Hawkeyes for the first month or so. They have this game, and one more, before they jump into big boy games, so we may see Ben McCollum playing around with his roster tonight, making it hard for anyone to get into any sort of offensive rhythm. Lipscomb also played last night in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, so they had about a 5 hour bus ride over night to Iowa City. Probably a little sluggish at tip.
I thought about playing Cleveland St cause Ron Summer was an assistant for Gates at Mizzou and Clev. St, the Tigers won't have Mark Mitchell tonight, and they have a big game with St. Louis U on Friday, but I decided to hold off and take in Jason Crowe Jr without financial consequences.
Boston College Eagles -18.5

JFC man, that’s a hell of a run and just fantastic analysis. I thought I was sharp. You’re the GOAT with those write ups and shit played out as you predicted.

Incredible man, and I tailed all of them except that Lipscomb under and you got that one too! You were due for a start like this for all the effort and knowledge you put in and I sincerely hope you can carry it on for the rest of the season.
Congratulations and fantastic work ...

Brro rtide the wave. You are seeing things clearly. Regression happens but dont think about that you've been on streaks before just keep it going as long as possible. Thank you for posting
