 Totally agree on UMass. They really have the bigs to trouble Miami, and a really good guard in Marcus Banks and I think they learned a lot from that first game, and now playing at home I think it sets up well for the Minutemen. If you look at Umass schedule, they have been close in a lot of games -- especially against good teams. They just gave Akron all they could handle and I was on them that night at +13 which they covered no problem. Gotta figure the crowd in Amherst is gonna be really fired up for this one tonight. 

daamn looks ike people may feel like i felt at 1st  Ohio st  they are now -1.5 not +1.5

grand canyon at SD st  well 1st meeting GC won at home 70-69 even though SD st took 12 more shots made 6 more shots, but GC made 7 more 3's and they shot 28 ft's making 22 while SD st took 19 ft's and made 16 ...GC had 7 more turnovers  2 fewer offensive rebounds took 12 fewer shots but won by 1 pt  thats unusual  will SD st get revenge here??? they played a good game just came up short, grand canyon played most the 2nd half ahead  they had a 11 pt lead with 10 mins left , was up 63-52 with 8 mins left..then 65-61 4 mins left,   then sd st had the lead at 69-68 with 58 sec's left tied at 69 sd st missed a ft to take the lead then GC was fouled with 1 second left  they made the foul shot to win  so crazy ending 

tonight though SD st is -8 at home  and Shaw is out for GC 20 mins 8 pts a game and for SD st Harrington is ? 20 mins 8 pts  personally i think SD st gets this tonight HR has -7.5   they played well at GC and if each team plays the same and GC does not have a huge edge in ft;s they should win this easy

 They were never a threat to never were a threat to beat akron and were down by double digits in both halves. Akron got whatever they wanted all game. Its not the a-10 conference so not that impressive to stay with mud tier teams.  Problem here is umass can play well and lose by 4 -6 in the final minute. Miami ohio could also play better then the first meeting as well.

 there is no doubt that Miami can win this game and cover   thats a given  i am just thinking with the 1st game being close, and U Mass at home  i think there will be more pressure on Miami oh this game, they win this i think they go undefeated   , i think U Mass gets over 79..5 pts too  this OU dropped 3 points but now is back up to 163.5  , thats why we gamble  can make arguments both ways, i think U Mass plays well tonight in a higher scoring gme   maybe miami wins by 20 if u mass shoots really bad, maybe Miami is off tonight we never know  we hope  we go by past stats and trends and hope , but we never know  hoping for a good game ... close wins early in the year are one thing but when you have a shot to go undefeated when it gets to last couple of minutes in a 1 pt game be interesting to see how they react
