ok.  Let’s break it down.    The very very very best plays for a team coming home after 3 straight road games are these. 

Major conference games nationally televised 

you bet the dog regardless who it is.    Regardless what the line is

and you go HEAVY!!!

 

No name teams in smaller conferences works but not nearly as good as the example above you need to be careful with these no name colleges using this part of Golden Rules 101

Looking at Ohio st it looks to me that all the money is on Ohio st money line and almost 90% on the spread. I understand that this may mean nothing in New Jersey but it does cause me to pause on unloading on it.
