I am all over Syracuse OVER....really like the play.

NHL game is up to 6....will wait to see if it comes back to 5.5.  Would never bet NHL total OVER needing 7 to win.  That is just me though.... BOL!!!

Hey Lawton, 

I'm just curious and trying to help as well: Do you apply your model to all the games on the board and then post the best pick? I was just wondering if you plugged in all the games as so many overs hit yesterday and Syracuse was one of the few unders that hit.

I think it looks like a solid play, based on each teams performance YTD, but it does go against some very strong trends.

Last 3 times they have met in 2016/2017 they scored 109, 130 and 133 points.

RECENT TRENDS

EASTERN KENTUCKY:

JACKSONVILLE ST.:

·         Under is 9-2 in EKY last 11 Thu. games.
 

·         Under is 22-5 in JVST last 27 vs. Ohio Valley.

·         Under is 13-4 in JVST last 17 home games.

While these trends don't seem to support an OVER play, both teams games this year have consistently been exceeding the 133 Total.  Possibly, both teams tighten up once conference play begins.  Hope not!
