SYSTEM MODIFICATION
After looking again at the data I have gotten (all game from 2008-2009, all major conference games from 2006-2008) It look like the MOST profitable way to play this is as follows:
fade 4-0 teams at 1 unit
Chase ONCE and fade 5-0 teams 2.2 units
Had you JUST done this and accepted the losses, you would have been up 57 units last year
Play 0-5 teams
Chase ONCE and play 0-6 teams
Had you JUST done this and accepted the losses, you would have been up 10 Units last year.
With both streaks I would avoid the BEST and WORST teams in each conference - this should ADD to profit.
If you want to get it all back, go labouchere on the 3.3 units you lost on each streak that didn't pan out.
