Western Michigan (1-6) has played a brutal schedule so far this season. A lot was expected of Western Michigan coming into this season. They have all 5 starters back as well as other key contributors. This is a good spot for them to excel. Detroit is coming off an emotional win vs. St. Johns Monday night. I look for them to be flat tonight. Detroit will be one of the weakest opponents WMU has faced all season. That's saying a lot b/c Detroit has a solid basketball team. However, WMU has faced Iona, Gonzaga, Purdue, Colorado, Temple, and an underrated South Dakota State ball club. I'm confident Detroit would have lost 4-5 of those ball games as well. With all of that being said, I am a fan of Western Michigan in this spot. They are catching Detroit at just the right time and they are well rested. They haven't played a game since the last day of November. They have worked hard at practice and they are itching to play tonight. Western Michigan +5 1/2.....anyone with me??? |

I'm not gonna lie for college bball this year I've been just about dead even so far and the bets I've lost on a lot of times I've seen a few posts on covers about sharp angles for games. I probably should've listened and I'm not gonna pretend to know anymore than most of you guys but had this forwarded to me from a friend just giving advice for the Western Mich - Detroit game. Read it and if you wanna use it u can if not its up to u. I probably will take the play and see if this whole sharp angle actually works sometimes haha. Good Luck Everyone.
been looking at this one all day but i pulled the trigger on WMU. think 5 1/2 will do it

I don't even think its overthinking it. I just think people seeing detroit are under-thinking it. Last night 1-7 UAB played 8-1 MTS catching only 4 points and beat them outright by 8. Tonight's a similar scenario, except Detroit is coming off a huge win and WMU isn't nearly as bad as their record indicates.
People that throw out this "don't overthink it" simply don't invest enough time to peel back the onion even one layer deep enough to realize this play has far more than meets the eyes.

Not saying Det might not win michael,,just dont like when some people come in these threads and make statements like "worst team in bskt". We are all here to try to help each other win,and I was just pointing out that WM is not the worst team in bskt by far this year. not playing this game,would maybe lean WM,but you might be right with DET. Just dont like seeing info posted thats way off base. Good luck tonight
