win: horse you pick HAS to finish 1st (higher payout)
place: Horse has to finish 1st OR 2nd (reduced payout)

Most people aren't giving horse tips on show bets, so I would say yes. Horse is 5/2 ML favorite and there are only 7 runners so I'd say Win is the only way to make some cash on it, unless you are going to exacta it somehow.

Further proof you are from Illinois where we call it "going to the boat"!! That's great. I still have friends that say that, even though most of those casinos haven't left the dock (and most can't now) in a decade+. I've been stuck out on a cruise before and gone busto with no means to reload and you just have to sit there like a jacka$$ and wait for the boat to get back (this was Empress in Joliet). Good times!!

Straights, we have discussed looking at dollars wagered and line movement. I’m already large of buffalo but shall we discuss
data feeds unreliable as they are show crazy amount of $$ on buff, now it’s a Small game and if the sharps are Hammering that shows us everything we need to know. But do you get concerned when you’re on the side where some silly % like 90% of the money is on the side you are considering betting?
