i am glad that we have the NIT games also this weekend, seem to do better there, today there are 2 games Liberty @ Nevada and Dayton @ UNCW ... Dayton is a 2.5 pt favorite on the road and Nevada is a 7.5 favorite at home, and the totals are 139.5 dayton game and 147.5 Nevada game, i agree with Dayton being favored on the road after winning at Bradley like they did but ya have to give UNCW credit also for winning at Yale by 1 pt , Dayton opened as a 2.5 pt favorite and has stayed the same, the total opened at 139.5 and has stayed the same but i do see a couple of 138.5 out there....Nevada opened at -7.5 , and 147.5 and has stayed the same everywhere
Dayton only had 3 offensive boards in their last game , and they are going to have to do better because last game UNCW had 18 offensive boards, and Dayton was helped by taking 25 ft's and making 21, Dayton wants a slower game for sure, last game Dayton too just 48 shots and they made 25 for 52% shooting and UNCW last game took 69 shots making 25 for a 36% rate again wich team will dictate the pace here, Dayton has to make sure that UNCW does not get 2nd chance points, they do a better job on the offensive boards, and i think dayton will need to get to the ft line also, they do shoot their ft's well , last game UNCW was just 8/14 57% they shoot 68% on the year while dayton shoots 75% on the year, and one thing about Dayton even though they only avg like 53 shots a game they do avg 74 pts a game, but UNCW does hold teams to 40% shooting while dayton holds teams to 43.6% .... this should be a good game tonight but i think Dayton will need to keep this game to a slower pace, dont let UNCW take 60+ shots, and they will have to shoot well again no decision
and Liberty at Nevada Liberty played a very good game last game winning 77-71 on the road in a game they controlled and had the lead for most of it, Liberty shot 49% as they were 27/55 and only made 6 3's for a team that averages 10 made 3's a game, GH did a good job limiting the amount of 3's taken as Liberty only took 17 and they avg 25, Liberty shoots over 50% and Nevada will have to make sure they don't , Nevada is going to want a little faster pace i think, they did take 73 shots in their last game and shot 51% but they did force 15 to's and they had only 5 theirself, if they can not turn the ball over tonight they have a really good shot at winning and covering tonight , Liberty does give up an avg of almost 46% shooting, and Nevada can score ...i hate going against Liberty, but i might give the edge to Nevada tonight at home and maybe an OVER
