Over the last couple of years there have been a lot of posts about sports and leagues being rigged, or some iteration, in various forums on Covers. Until now, these types of posts and threads were tolerated in any sub forum on Covers. Today we have implemented a new rule to our forum guidelines to restrict these kinds of threads and posts to a single forum, the 'Other' forum. From now on if a user makes a 'rigged' thread in any forum that isn't the 'Other' forum, then it will be moved to the aforementioned forum and the poster will be suspended. Similarly, if a users makes a 'rigged' post on a thread that isn't in the 'Other' forum, it will be deleted and the user suspended. Bans will be given out upon repeat offences.
The reason for this new guideline is because many of these threads and topics take away from people trying to have legitimate sports betting discussions, and negatively impacts their experience in the forum.

Let me clarify any confusion around the rule as it pertains to officiating.
Saying officiators are committing human errors when making a call, or highlighting a trend/statistic associated with a certain officiator isn't the same as saying the officiator is fixing/rigging a game. Unless it is followed by an accusation of the officiator rigging/fixing a game because of said call or trend/statistic.
