Florida +?- I'm hoping this line gets bid up and I can get them at 5+.  I watched the whole Florida/Vandy game and while Florida lost they did a few things well.  They shot the ball much better and in the first half they competed inside much better.  Florida's glaring weakness to me is defending the paint.  If Kentucky is smart they'll pound it inside and attack the rim off the dribble.  The "X" factor is Macklin for Florida.  He has been lost the past several games and he must show up big if they are to compete on the inside vs. Kentucky.  He struggles against good fundamental big man who take advantage of positioning and foot work.  I think he matches up much better against UK's inside guys who rely on athleticism and instincts.  Something tells me he shows up to play against his fellow McDonalds All-Americans.  Boynton is the other key.  He chucks way too many 3's for a low % shooter.  I know he had a high school rep for strokin but it's different at this level and his shots are rushed and off balance.  He needs to play within himself.  The last comment on this game is that UK really hasn't played a real road game since the IU game on 12/12.  They've coasted at home until Georgia showed up to play the last game.  Conf road games are a completely different experience and we'll see how special these young guys are in this Gator environment.  Lastly, Erving Walker's quickness is something that may bother Wall a little bit and stop him from outright dominating like he is capable of doing.  This is a good spot to take Florida especially with 70% consensus on UK and over 90% of the action on UK thus far. This looks and smells like Tennessee.  Thoughts are welcome???

I personally think UK gets caught chucking 3's tonight and one thing FL excels in is defending the 3. I also think FL shooting game steps up tonight as they should get open looks all game.

You know this play is more about motivation than anything. Most people dont agree with that. People dont want to buy into the situational capping as they want to look at match-ups. Match-ups go to and extent at this point in the season now. That is why you are starting to see move more into betting the dogs these last few days. UK is better in almost every category for this game tonight. Does that mean they can win sure but more times than not as we move deeper in the season teams in these spots that are clearly the better team do cough up games like these. These are 18-23 year olds kids. Some are not used to doing the traveling due to the youth. I understand you can compare it to AAU for the elite players that travel the country but they also dont play in front of 20,000+ fans in those games.

HCA is huge in college sports and when you get a home team that has proved they can play with the best on the national stage then I see no reason why they cant play inspired basketball. FL will showcase 40 minutes of basketball and go 110% and put UK in a position to where the youth of UK will have to step up and take it away from them in a true road environment. This should be a good one.

HEY UNC,

I like this pick and am getting +5 -120 here at my book so the # is good. I got scared away by line movement on the penn st game as I can only get 8 at the moment. Love the MARYLAND play and it maybe a scratch winner here but I may buy upto 5 -120 although I hate giving up the juice.

I have a nice play on Tenn st + 13,

so at the moment I am looking at firming up 3 plays:

tenn st + 13

MARY +5 -120

ALL FOR 10U?
