UNC U getting those lines from the greek book? I have k state -6 1/2 byu -7 1/2 ans wisc mil -14. like everyone else I might just stay away unless the move back to where u got them. Normaly I be like whats a point but after losing 8 games last week by 1 pt or less I am really trying to pick my spots..
I know you are not on the temple Miami Ohio game but any thoughts? I was leaning to temple just think they are much better then Miami ohio

Butler +3 over Georgetown - 7:00pm EST
The Butler Bulldogs came into the season very highly regarded, hovering around the #10/11 ranking nationally. A couple of disappointing losses - home against Minnesota and Clemson, both ranked - has dulled a bit of their luster, but they remain a disciplined team with many talented shooters. Matt Howard, the reigning Horizon League player of the year, will need to come through for their next stretch of games, when Butler faces Georgetown, Ohio State and Xavier consecutively. Georgetown comes into the Jimmy V Classic with a perfect 6-0 record, though a 46-45 scare against Temple is seen by some as a blemish. Though perhaps not as deep as they were last year, talented big man Greg Monroe has a year under his belt and is averaging a double double for the Hoyas.
Just as we do in all of our Marketwatch editions, we love to https://www.sportsinsights.com/sportsbettingresearch/betagainst/ncaa-basketball-2009.aspx in college basketball. It's not at all surprising that big-name Georgetown is getting 64% of public spread bets in this match-up, not to mention 63% of moneyline and 68% of parlay wagers. However, the bookmakers aren't adjusting their lines accordingly. After opening at -3 at CRIS, the line has moved down to -2.5 at a number of sportsbooks. This reverse line movement is a key indicator of sharp money in a game that promises to be among the most heavily bet of the week. We like the Bulldogs to take their first marquee victory of the season, and we'll happily take the 3 points offered at about half of our offshore books.

I typically play the angle of a home team laying points to the higher ranked team but with so much love for ILL this is a no play.
i wanted to ask you about this unc. surely you had to know illinois was going to be the favorite in this game especially after the big comeback win at clemson. illini were in the polls before a vegas disaster and vandy is barely in the polls, i think this angle is a little overrated personally, i dont really pay much attention to it unless the road team is at least top 15.

Illinois was going to be one of my top plays due to that angle. Like you said to much action coming in on them and I think the comeback to Clemson killed this bet.

No but I know a guy that does it for a living. I thought about just giving him money and doing it for me.
He used to be one of the biggest bookies in the country about 20 years ago. Worked one job when he was in his teens for one week and has never worked another job since then. Before he got in to the bookie side he had those cherri machines and had them spread out through the midwest in all types of bars and taverns. Thats how he made his money and it was a load. Then he got hooked up with mob I guess and thats how he got into the bookie side. He no longer does it now but a pretty neat story. I could go on but I will leave it at that.
