My original lean was Siena. I really thought the points almost look too attractive after I sat here for awhile and dwelled on things. Most people are not impressed with Butler at the same time I am not impressed with this Siena team. I think most teams know about Siena now and they have not really snuck up on anyone. Sure they have beaten up on their conference but you look at the out of conference games and this team has been avg.

Butler is a beast in Hinkle going 27-2 the past 2 seasons. Winning 69 of the last 75 and is 40-3 under Coach Stevens. This is Butlers final home game also. This team has not played up to par lately and I think that is due to being complacent against the opponents they have faced. They did this same shit last year and rolled into Davidson and laid a beating on Curry and co. As for Siena I could say the same but this team has done nothing to show me that they can take there game to another level. They have stayed on a steady line all season I guess you could say. Butler has shown me they can step up when watching them earlier in the year facing tougher competition.

Anyways I want to watch this line until closer to tip...

Two teams IMO that are not great defensively and we should see a jacked up Butler squad being the final home game so they should fill it up in spurts. More of a trend though if I am correct these 2 teams in the Bracket Buster history combined are 7-1 favoring the over.

ST JOHNS +5 (5U)

Huge look ahead game plain and simple.

I was looking very hard into South Carolina and OK ST also to kick the day off my concerns though is that I am not going to rely on player to carry the team kind of the same role as Evan Turner was in the other night against Purdue. Downey and Anderson cant do it alone against better teams this deep in the season. As I can see both are becoming popular plays but dont forget OK ST and South Carolina both have huge games on deck.

I just dont understand how any supposed "respected capper" can lean to one team..and then later that night take THE OTHER TEAM?

That makes absolutelt NO SENSE at all. If anything, lay off the pick..If you found a pick you like, and then of all the other picks on the board, you choose to make one of your picks the OPPOSITE of your original lean, you have issues. Obviously you weren't to confident in your original lean, and you are only betting the game because its a high profile game..We arent in this to bet the big games, we are in this to make money..Of all the games friday night, of course he picks the only ranked team on the board..And then changes his pick, and loses...

Revenge and UTEP's poor ATS history is going to set this one up. UTEP is probably at a all time sky high right now after coming off a blowout win over a lowly ECU team not to mention rattling off 9 straight conference wins.

Now I understand UTEP has had a week off to prepare to for TULSA. Does that concern not a bit. UTEP has been in this role 6 times and is 2-4. Beating SMU for the 2 wins. They are 1-3 away from home losing in this situation. Also losing 2 Tulsa 3 times in this situation. Some more info..

Tulsa leads the series 26-12. UTEP snapped a four-game losing skid to the Golden Hurricane with a 73-59 win at the Haskins Center on Feb. 6.

The Golden Hurricane has won six of the last eight meetings between the schools over the last four seasons after UTEP dominated the series from 2003-06 (5-1 record).

The Golden Hurricane has claimed 16 of the 20 matchups between the teams in Tulsa. UTEP has won twice in its last 13 trips to Tulsa.

TULSA is looking to get back on track after dropping 3 of their last 4. A game like this against one of the hottest teams in the country and in the conference will do a world of wonders. Getting that defensive swagger back is the answer for this one. If this team gets back to the basics which I fully expect they have no reason not to win this one going away. IMO this has really come down to a must win and I will gladly back a experienced home squad. That has been deadly in this arena. Really dont care if this one turns into a square play or not I will glady back a team that has won 16 of 20 meetings at home. I may add more to this one not sure yet.

Have you watched Siena this season?  I've only watched one game- last week vs Niagra and it wasn't pretty.  Low-level stuff.  Looks like a one man show, but 8 points doesn't thrill me enough to jump on Butler...but I may crunch some numbers and change my mind.

GCNMOO please talk me out of this cause this looking mighty attractive. I think we see some lopsided officiating in this one that will get one of the best teams in the country at getting to the line even more. HAHA Hopeful thinking.

But if this does happens we can throw out the rebounding factor as this could off set it. I was looking at that last meeting and it was pretty even except for that rebounding number that just keeps popping out to me. Got some serious thinking to do but everything fits to be a play.

The rest will roll out tomorrow if anything else does pop up. Not real excited about this card today but I am trying to keep everything simple and within my criteria of capping. Not trying to get off track from things that I have learned over the years. Anyways

Tulsa makes me nervous.

The Golden Hurricane are no longer an at large contender,while with a win in Tulsa,UTEP would be firmly on the bubble if they fail to win the CUSA crown.I am not a conspiracy theorist,but even though the game is in Tulsa,I wouldn't be surprised to see the Miners get some calls tomorrow.

One thing that I have found in coaching and in my everyday walk through life...if someone isn't talking about you, then you are not doing something right.

I am still learning how to handicap the games. I am training myself how to watch the line movement. I have been finding out a lot of different things.

My question for you is on the Butler game. Does it matter to you that Butler may be without their best defensive player, Willie Veasley, tomorrow? I read another post earlier that mentioned he was doubtful.
