Hey fellas,

We all know by now that covers.com or offshore accounts or someone is hiring people to bash their threads to scare them off of following his picks.

UNC I have tailed off and on for a few months now. I won some nice ones and lost some nice ones. But the point is I'm up....I do my games over a 1 week period and revalute how I am doing for the 7 day span....

His insights are clever and not always perfect but like any odds I am on the winning side week in and week out...

So I say bring on the fin haters cause all there trying to do is scare new people to the thread and thats fin fine by me. For the rest that know the truth and math behind it I say this....

I did not bet on the game, nor am I an Alabama fan, but COME ON.  There is obviously no way to prove this kind of thing... but Alabama played 6 ranked teams this year FOUR in the top 10... Texas played 4 ranked teams this year ONE in the top 10... if you beat FOUR top 10 teams, you are national championship worthy.  Texas slipped by Nebraska with McCoy... in fact... they should have lost that game...

TRAIN69 - Look at McCoy's numbers vs Top 40 Defenses this year.  Something like 180 yards passing per game and 1 TD and 5 INTs.  Gilbert did just as good of a job or better than McCoy would have done in the 2nd half.

I tell UNC he capped the game correctly and all the Alabama backers want to come out of the woodwork and try and validate their victory as if they are genuises for winning that bet. They all sound like Jets fans who aren't grateful enough to accept the gift that the Colts gave them, and go about their business and play football. Instead, they have to run their mouths and try and convince people they are for real.

After watching that game last night, with a healthy McCoy I would put double on Texas than what I had on it last night...because Texas was the correct bet.

First of all, I respect UNC to the fullest..

With that said, do you not think that the play calling of Alabama was completely changed by the fact that McCoy got hurt? They became very very conservative and limited the play calling... I'm not saying Bama was the correct bet, or vice versa. However, the McCoy injury changed both teams game plan... Had Bama kept the original game plan I feel like the game would have been out of reach in a hurry since the play calling would have been much more risky... Just a thought...
