NCAA tournament without fans in the stands

March Sadness yes but at least the games will be played as of now

Didn't need to be done in my opinion...people & places are in  "panic mode"..no need to be..plain & simple if you're sick & you think you have the flu/Coronavirus ..then stay home...don't go to the tourney..stay home & watch it on tv..

There is always going to be that few bad apples who does not care if he/she transmits the virus or not That is probably the reason for a lot of the spread of the virus so far in the US. They just cancelled the Houston livestock and rodeo for the last 2 weeks of it and that brings in 60 thousand plus per night. That was a big deal so I totally expect them to do the same with all sporting events. Sad thing is that we are all probably going to at lease be exposed to it whether or not we catch it is another story. 

That's nuts.

Just announced no fans in arena but tournament will go on.

So, now are they going to close all sports bars...….

I feel safer at a sporting event than a hospital or grocery store

sucks,  but had to be done.

Going to be weird watching the games with no fans.

If the NCAA was smart they would just go to local high school gyms and play the games instead of charge double commercial rates now to make up for attendance revenue. and high rent for these 40k arenas.....oh wait it's the NCAA nevermind

Completely agree Eddy. There’s more important things going on in the world than sports guys.

I wish they could have just pushed some of these games back a couple of weeks. Watching intense tourney games without the energy of the crowd and live noise is definitely going to take some luster away.

Very sad!  Tournament is definitely going to suck this year w/out the packed arenas.....

Didn't have to be done.  Total bullshit and this tournament, that could have been one of the greatest ever with the parity across the country, has now been ruined.  Momentum from your crowd, is now limited to a high five from your coach.  The winner of this tournament will forever be known as the least deserving champion.  Congrats, you had to win 6 straight practice games.  WHEW!!!!!

Well you should be able to hear all the taunting, Cussing, unless they mute that as well. Going to be a hard job for the announcers as well as they get into the crowds just as players do. 

Yeah that's nuts..close games with the fans on the edge of their seats isn't going to be the same..

Just cancel the whole tourney then..wtf!

There sure are.  Why aren't we freaking out about them?  26 veterans commit suicide a day, not a peep about it.  9 geriatrics die in Washington and all of sudden we have a Black Plague.
