Iona -2.5 (37 units to win 35.24)
This is normally a spot where I would be all over the home dog, but despite what shows in the conference standings, Iona is the class of the MAAC. I know that doesn't mean they win every game because clearly they haven't and of course they have flat spots. However, Iona is all around a much, much better basketball team that Loyola-Maryland and I'm giving little to no value for home court. If the Gaels show up (and they should with MAAC regular season still up in the air), even if they give 80%, they will win and cover. Loyola-Maryland has played nine home games this year and only one of them was against a team with a winning record. LoyolaMD squaked by Manhattan 61-60 back in January. Their remaining D1 home opponents have a combined 49-100 overall record and they played two non-D1 schools, one they beat by 10 and the other by only 3. The 8-1 home mark for LoyolaMd is misleading as they should win all of these games. Their toughest home test rolls in tonight and I think Iona takes care of business.
