I don't know about Minnesota's defense being that strong.  They are absolutely hacking the shit out of Washington every time down the court.  That said, Wash's D has been abysmal so far.  Refs aren't helping things though (which is typical for NCAA hoops refs...at leastTed Valentine isn't reffing this game).

The only thing worse than the officiating is the defense of the Huskies.  They look like the pick and roll is some new innovative offensive strategy that they cannot provide a solution for.  Minnesota almost has as many inside points in the first half then they average on the season.  Abysmal defense.
