I personally have $3000 on Louisville +6 & I Have $1000 Louisville ML +230. This is my 3rd largest wager of the tourney. Top 2 wagers 2-0 on Arky +1.5 over Indy & Louie ML over Tenny. Good Luck to all who follow.||clover.gif' border=0>

living in charlotte and working downtown i can tell you that the arena is going to be at least 90% carolina fans. a serious homecourt advantage for a big time game. i believe unc is 9-0 on neutral floors.
IMO if louisville tries to run(which they like to do) lawson will run them right out of the gym tonight. ill take stepheson thompson and hansbrough any day over padgett.||clover.gif' border=0>

rutger is the only big east team that NC has played this year and they beat them by a big margin only because they are the worse big east team this year. georetown and louisville are the top 2 in the big east and georgetown beat NC last year in the tourney. I say its possible Louisville can do the same or keep it very close.

anything is possible my friend. but you have to remember, youre talking about last year. this is this year, and with a more experienced heels team. last years team was mostly freshmen
not saying they cant cover the 6 but its not going to be easy for louisville, especially if hansbrough and company get louisville in foul trouble early. you remember all the turnovers louisville has had recently?? tenn couldnt capitolize on them, unc will.
another side note is the haterid that the 2 coaches have for one another, IMO this is going to be a high scoring battle with the heels pulling away for the cover late in the game after louisville gets tired from all the running.

no one that would bet 3000 or 1000 on a ml would be on a forum telling people that. it wouldnt surprise me if the bet was $300 $100 or even $30 $10

Is it really a neutral court when it will be filled with mostly UNC fans? If not, don't forget where UNC's losses came. AT HOME. Just something to think about.

like Louisville here. They have an excellent inside attack, 5 guys who are 225+ pounds to hit UNC inside and abuse Psycho-T, and match up well. Consider that Louisville's main weaknesses are turnovers (101st in the nation) and getting to the line (215th). This matches up great with UNC. UNC is 192nd in forcing turnovers (they will be unable to capitalize on LOU's ball handling. Further, UNC is 11th in the nation at preventing points off of free throws. LOU doesn't try to get to the line, and as a result, UNC's best defensive skill (of effective fg %, turnover ability, offensive rebound prevention, and free throw prevention), is effectively negated.
This is analogous to my advice tonight with Memphis. Michigan State is amazing guarding the 3. Memphis doesn't care about the 3, didn't launch the 3 often, and effectively negated Michigan State's greatest strength.
To prevent the fast break, LOU will do three things. First, they will not over pursue on offensive rebounds (as to not be caught out of position). Second, they will not take long 3's or ill advised 3's. LOU is excellent at scoring inside (25th in nation. Compare that the Carolina's 47th for a reference point.) By pounding the ball inside, they will prevent UNC from getting run-outs. Third, they will use an effective mixture of press, man to man (off misses), and zone (off makes). They have enough guys to draw charges and get UNC's wings in foul trouble.
Lou will be able to do a great job on Hansborough and the other UNC Big men.
To me, this game will come down to LOU's ability to keep UNC off of the offensive glass, and UNC's three point shooting. IF UNC has an average night on the Offensive glass and behind the arc, Louisville wins. If UNC has an exceptional night on the offensive glass or from behind the arc, they will win. UNC is a good, but not great three point shooting team, though they have been improving throughout the tournament. I think they will do it enough and will gladly play +250

The best weapon louisville has is that full court pressure d that seems to break weaker teams down over the streatch. However UNC has to many answeres to that. And Will be too much for Louisville to handle.||an_fight.gif' border=0>

just put everything on + da points. It's more safe that way, Many alumns from UCLA & UNC wants to see Hansrough vs Love. If you're going to bet the game(tonight) in ML, you're better off to go with UNC becaus the expert have touted them to be in the Final Four.

imo there is no way in hell louisville wins outright . the way they shot the ball in the tennessee game was disgusting , in fact that game was the sloppiest tournament game i can remember in a long time i was disgusted by them and especially tenn . i really think unc rolls and wins by dd . but with vegas u never know what kind of bs will occur
