Lost my teaser, but went 5-1 yesterday with my straight plays. These short cards a nice break... it seems like ever since last week, there's like 35-40 games a day!

jrarguello05... I appreciate that you take my picks into consideration when making yours but please do not feel the need to post your winning tickets in my thread. I'm happy you won, and your word is good enough. Very often it becomes difficult to sort thru all the talk to find what we're all looking for.

I'm a little leary of your Texas Tech pick though...-9 is a lot of points for this very young team. I had the unfortunate luck of being on them @ Stanford and nothing I saw that night would lead me to believe they can consistently cover this number. I believe TCU plays a more stout defense than Stanford...and when the Cardinals got TT into a half-court game...it was like an NBA vs. High-School team....TT seemed so lost it wasn't even funny. Singletary is their "Athlete" who can slash and score...Voskuil is one of the best shooters in the country when open...and Roberson can get his...but his size prohibits him from being overly affective. If you control Voskuil (Their only true 3-pt threat) TCU can cover this with ease...as the other 2 I mentioned both have inconsistent jumpers.

The Braves have only 2 ATS losses as a dog going back to the '04-05 season and I'll take them as the home dog tonight. They have performed admirably in this spot, and has covered the last 7 against Illinois State. This line should be closer to -6 in my opinion and as expected, people are jumping on the undefeated team and the short line.
