Oh man that sucks. CASH >>> LIKE/DISLIKE. Sorry about that. He can easily make that 1 shot up though.
What especially sucks is that the water he hit it into isn't even really in play. 50 of 51 players had either parred or birdied that hole, and he double-bogeyed it.

@RF_Dawg - Thanks for the $$$$ pick, it almost hit! I'll happily take a push with 5 bills on it. There was a lot of opps for that 4th goal while free rolling with 25 min left, but it just didn't happen. I don't quite understand Jong Ajax holding the ball a mid field the entire game, even when down 2-0. All in all I was well entertained and got my moneys worth ha.

Nonetheless, sorry for those who tailed me. We were looking solid in the front 9, and everything just went south on the back 9. Our players were missing easy putts(Phil missed 3 easy ones) and were catching the most unfair breaks. While their opponents continued to drain long putts. Thats golf though!

Illinois
State (9:30PM ET ESPN3) – We look to continue our great $$$$ run and set the
tone for a big weekend as we head to the Missouri Valley Conference tournament
where the #3 seed Illinois State Redbirds take on the #6 seed Indiana State
Sycamores at the Scottrade Center in St Louis.
We were all over the Redbirds when they throttled Indiana State by 28 a
few weeks ago and based on that result it’s no surprise over 90 percent of the
action thus far has come in on Illinois State.
While it’s generally a smart strategy to go against a heavily backed
public favorite it’s less of a concern in these conference tournaments because
pretty much every higher seeded favorite on a neutral court is going to be
publically backed for no reason other than the uninformed betting public wants
action on these games and are going to usually roll with the team that looks
better on paper. There’s no question
Illinois State is better on paper but the reason we love the Redbirds in this
spot tonight is the fact they are head and shoulders better than an Indiana
State team that has been in complete disarray for the past month. Because this game is on a neutral court this
line is lower than it would be if it were a home game for the Redbirds but we
see value in the fact Indiana State is playing away from home here has the
Sycamores haven’t won outside of Terre Haute since beating a Drake team that
went 2-16 in conference play this season way back in early January. Indiana State had lost six games in a row
before winning their home finale against a below average Bradley team and the
results during this run were abysmal, losing consecutively to Illinois State by
28, Wichita State by 33 and Northern Iowa by 22. There’s a huge discrepancy between the “haves”
and “have nots” in the MVC this season as Wichita State, Evansville, Illinois
State, Southern Illinois and Northern Iowa are the clear upper echelon with
Indiana State being on the other side of a huge talent gap between the top five
and bottom five. Illinois State also
played a very challenging non-conference schedule and while they don’t have any
signature wins to show for it, there’s no question battles with the likes of
San Diego State, Maryland, TCU, UAB and Kentucky toughened this Redbirds team
up to succeed in against a rigors conference schedule with a 12-6 league record
and a tie for second. The only reason
Indiana State wasn’t much worse this year is they were able to grind out games
on defense but Illinois State is also very good defensively and we see the
Redbirds defense exposing the Sycamores poor offense more than Indiana State
will be able to stop Illinois State’s attack.
This might not be a home game for Illinois State but the Redbirds have
always played well at the Scottrade Center and in this tournament over the
years and with Wichita State at least being human this season Illinois State
has to like their chances just as much as anyone of winning this tournament. If Illinois State goes out of this
tournament, it’s not going to be against a lesser team, and we see the Redbirds
handling business tonight with a statement win that crushes this small
number.

Someone mentioned continuing this after Holmey shuts it down after the first weekend of the tournament and while I wouldn't have time to organize it I'm happy to contribute in a similar fashion throughout the summer months until Holmey picks back up again. We get some good discussion going in here so I definitely see the benefit even though the overall results may not be as strong.

Definitely unlike Phil to miss judge a WEDGE!!! Thats his bread and butter. Good thing Holmes chunked his 3rd shot from the rough to give us the tie at least! Money pushed is money earned! Just need Dufner to drain 1 more birdie putt and close this matchup out.

Ain't no sweat man, we know know how it goes. I'm just glad Phil got the push...as bad as he played those last few holes I was expecting the worse. Had a nickel on the Mickel, plus that juice....sure didn't need that after that Wichita debauchery. Now hopefully we can hit at least one of these last 2 open plays.

Just my luck..I choose a player thats posting one of the hottest scores on the round. Scott -6...Mcilroy and Schwartzel are the only other two players to post -6..but of course...DJ goes and posts -8. Gotta hand it to DJ, really came to play today.

$$$$ Play of the Day $$$$
Yale -14 vs Cornell
I am really liking Yale tonight for my $$$$ play. The line started out at 11 and is still going up so get it quick. It is now -14 but i still like it. This game is pretty simple, Yale needs a win here tonight if they want a chance to make it into the tournament which hasn't happened since 1962..so i can only imagine how fired up this team is. Even better they are playing Cornell, who is 2-10 in the Ivy league conference. And 0-5 at home in conference play. Last time these two teams played (about a month ago) Yale beat them by 31 points. Easy Easy win.. Cornell has absolutely nothing to play for.. home crowd won't be a factor..cant imagine itll be very packed.. and Yale wants this win bad. I don't expect them to take this game lightly..and i like them by at least 20 points tonight in a blow out! BET YALE!!
