I'm taking Uconn not because Wright is out or because Uconn won the previous meeting with Wright (19 pts), but gtown is playing terrible basket last 3 games and Uconn playing not so terrible, both teams can0t loose in first round of the big dance. And i'm not worry about public betting in these game.

Not for nothing, I usually bet more NBA than I do NCAA, but in NBA catching a team on a back to back when you didn't play the night before is a pretty big advantage.

I think this needs to be considered as well.  Considering this game is going to have a "streetfight" mentality I think the team with fresher legs will be able to benefit.

Close game like this too I feel like I have to take the points.

And what U Conn has been playing great? They smash are horrible Depaul team and all of the sudden their red hot?

NCAA is different. They are younger and have fresher legs with less mileage and wear.

If it was a 3rd/4th night in a row then you can start questioning their legs and being worn down.

Also I think playing hte 1st day might be an advantage today because it gave the players a chance to get use to MSG. MSG can be a tough place to play if you haven't played there recently because of the depth perception and tighter rims.

When have they been blown out or not in a game?

They have been in every game and could have won most of hte games they lost. They have not been clsing games out for hte past month-month and half but they still have not played poorly.

Gtown on the other hand has been a very different team since Wright has gone down. He was their PG and one of their leaders. You can't just replace the person who runs your offense and is a senior/one of the best players and expect the team to perform as well.

U Conn had lost 4 or 5 before winning yesterdays game which was little more than a scrimmage against a High School team. Now people all over them? Talk about an over-reaction.

funny how all the prospects and rookies in here love CONN and all the veterans and well known cappers like the dog.... I like the under predicated on the slow pace G town needs. ... I think Thompson is clearly a better coach...

@Lville and @St Johns are the only games they have really been in where they had no chance win, on that day.

Every other loss they were in it and lost during the last couple minutes.

Chris Wright was their leader down the stretch.....Biggest factor : RUNNING THE OFFENSE and FREE THROWS! He could hit them with his eyes closed!

I never said U Conn can't cover. They very well might. But to look at it and say "Oh Chris Wright is hurt, U Conn is an easy cover" is flat out stupidity. If it were that easy we'd all be rich.

They are laying points. They don't need to be blown out. If they lose, they don't cover.

G-Town is a better all around team, better coached, more scoring options, etc etc etc.. Wright being hurt to me takes the game from G-Town -3 to PK. Getting 3 points is just a bonus

look at how teams who played day one in the Big East tourney, fare against the team who had a bye.  How was UCONN playing before they beat the MIGHTY Depaul????  GTown 10-1 ATS last 11 on neutral court.  That has something to do with coaching and how team gets prepared.
