$39K+ for the year...wow. Man, I making a withdrawl on my account shortly. Even though it's nice to see a healthy number, I think it'll look even better in MY wallet instead of their wallet.
42 plays man, that's a ton of research. I used to do that man plays but now I really like spreading out 7 games over a day through an If-Action play. Plus it gives me time hedge if necessary. Its obvious these lines are getting sharper. Sunday I'm only playing the A-10 and ACC Finals. I think GaTech wins the the whole lot and I'm rooting for R.I. +4 tomorrow; maybe they'll even be matched up against Richmond on Sunday.
I really hoping I'll cash on SDSU MVC Tourney slip for 8/1 and Cal Pac-10 Tourney for 5/4. Now that'll be really nice! ![]()
Alright, now the question I came to ask...Do you create your own lines before viewing the board or just go with your first instinct? This might sound a little arrogant but I write my own lines out and if a play is not within a point to a point and half, I refuse to play it. I'm not sounding cocky but just like the WVU play, I think I capped the game at WVU -1.5, that's why I made the mL play. Do you find yourself doing this or do you base your play on line movement or ATS, trends or matchups? A lot to answer but I'm curious to see how other people cap games. ENJOY does an excellent job with his 2H plays but I think he relies to heavily on certain systems, although I tend to agree with his 2H total strategy where if the 1H is low scoring, namely 15 points or less than the 1H total line, play the 2H over (e.g. Tree/Wash tonight 47 1H points when 1H total was lined at 69, should play the 2H over; this tends to hit more times than not).
If you get around to answering this would appreciate your thoughts.
I think I actually like these smaller cards better than mid-season cards with a hundred available lines. While certain ignored conferences offer softer lines (OVC, CAA), I think these teams play harder this time of year and offer closer competition that Vegas cannot compensate for right now.
That's why I was never a fan of Saturday's b/c I just get a little overwhelmed with all the potential action. I think my own newfound discipline in betting is very useful when betting Baseball b/c this is the toughest sport to bet on since if you play a full card everyday, it is very easy to hold a decent deficit in only mid-May.
With that said, I'm not judging, just curious how comfortable you are betting that many games in a day. I've fallen into that pattern where I bet on 20+ individual bets in a day; it's fun, just not very good on the stress level if you know what I mean.
Btw, how's BetJam working for you (If you went with them) or did you choose another book?
GL with the plays tomorrow.
A lot to read but then again, I type a lot! Later Ry.
