As a born and raised Kentucky boy I just wanna say how nice it is to hear the haters ranting and raving again. Anytime the general population is raggin' on Big Blue like they're the Yankees of CBB I know my program is back where it should be. Heavy lies the crown muthafuckas.....
That said, we are over-rated. History shows whatever team the no.1 draft pick is on will be hyped well beyond their actual capabilities. DUH. I love Wall, he's great to watch. Pure talent. But, yeah-he's young, dumb, and has an ego way too large for his 18 yr old mind to handle. So does Cousins. So do most national spotlight freshman.
I don't like having the epitome of a one and done player on my team. I really hate having two(possibly three). All flash, no substance.Divas in training just coasting through the year on talent alone. That kind of team is not what I was taught wins championships when I was growing up.Guys who give 110 percent, subscribe blindly to the coach's system, use all five players on the court, play defense as hard as possible for 40 mins and leave everything they have on that court till the final buzzer--that wins the big ones. I still believe that.
Fuckin' A though--this team is fun to watch. Fast breaks, alley-oops, run and fuckin gun baby. It's so weird to see that shit in Lexington. But I'm gettin' used to it. It's a new era...if you can't beat'em join'em, huh?
That Miss St. game did bring me back to Earth a bit...what an inferior team. Overtime? Really? I don't know how anyone could expect our boys to get past the Elite 8 playing that kinda ball. Our team is the sort of team that gets crazy ass media attention(and forum attention I suppose). Not the sort of team that wins championships.
I hope we change these ways. I hope we lose a couple and are able to register the reality check. I hope Wall and Cousins realize the potential greatness they could accomplish this one and only year of CBB that they're in. I hope they understand the hard work and mature attitude it will require. I hope it all falls into place.
All I can do is hope.

I'm real interested in seeing how your results come out. I'm going to guess about 50/50 and by that I mean covering the point spread. Hardly what I would call easy money, especially when you factor in the juice you veteran you!!!![]()

Good game to WVU, I have to admit I'm surprised. I didn't know if KY was going to win it all, but I definitely thought they were going to win this one. You can't miss that many shots and expect to be the national champs. Congrats on Huggins team having a chance to win it all and that is who I'm rooting for now!![]()

Nice "call" I suppose, WVU was just too much for them, those young kids got a bit rattled when they missed 3-ball after 3-ball in the 1stH and got behind at the break... a testament to how youth can be a hindrance as the games get tougher and athleticism just ain''t enough to get you past the better coached teams.. and let's face it, Huggy bear OWNS --- OWNS Calipari H2H, and last night was no different... well-played VV!
