I think Wichita State has more motivation than anyone to come into this tournament and try to walk out victorious, but the value is on Missouri State. Before the title game, they would match-up with ISU, SIU, UNI, or Creighton and every single opponent they play will have less than a 24 hour window throughout the entire tournament to try and recoup, which is key in a tournament setting. Along those lines, they play in the half of the bracket that doesn't feature any threat from outside. As for Wichita, they draw the winner of Bradley/Drake where both teams shoot the three heavily and then would draw the winner of Indiana State/Evansville, two more teams who like to shoot the three. The three-ball is the equalizer in these types of tournaments and it's scary to go against it. Missouri State's offense is a full step ahead of anyone they'd play before the title game, so unless something happens out of the ordinary, i'm getting 2/1 on a title game with what I feel is the better team. Is their cons to this? Absolutely. All their games are played during the day, and I've echoed my thoughts on day games and how much I hate them in the past, but the fact they'll be playing teams on a back-to-back inside of that 24 hour window should be an advantage. Don't get me wrong, I like Wichita State in this, but they have to play really good and avoid a hot shooting squad the entire way. Missouri State doesn't, and from that, I see value.

Would love to hear your thoughts on Bradley tomorrow as you know that program better than anyone. I feel like they may have a little run in them and played them @ +16000 to win the MVC (very small).
I also played them -1 vs Drake.
Good luck in the tournies...best time of the year. Miss the old days without all the riff raff on the forums.

Good to see you around! Price is right considering they'll have to win four games in four days. Would have liked to see them in the upper half where they had a better offensive advantage. Clearly, they'll go as far as Warren is going to take them. They lack an inside presence both offensively, and defensively, and they have some nice wing that can defend and get to the hoop, but a majority of the time they'd like to settle for the outside shot for some reason. Bottom line, they lost two of their studs at the beginning of the season or they would have been a force and probably at worst a #3 seed here. Les is as good as gone too I believe. They had three conference games that were blown due to late technicals by Les and a few more blown on pure poor coaching decisions.
As for today's game, I'd probably lean Drake. Immediate revenge off a pounding in Peoria on Senior Night, a game in which Bradley shot 60%+ and Warren was lights out. If Warren gets 30+ again, they have a shot. Match-up wise, Drake has an advantage in the post both offensively and defensively with VanDeest, and they have some shooters on the outside. Furthermore, Rice is the next Warren in this conference. Guy can play, and for some reason he wasn't matched up on Warren in the meeting last week. I'd pretty much bet anything he'll be guarding him tonight. Warren still might go for 20 but the shots won't come as easy as what they did Senior night. It's going to be up to the role players to produce here, and in that case I think I would have to go with Drake's balance.

It's a discussion thread for conference tournaments, idiot.
This is your argument? Its terrible. Just stop. I really expected something better out of you. Name calling, expected. But lack of an original response? Terrible.
You need to post more than a clappy guy to discuss something. You sort of made it into a 'hose another human being down' thread.
