I know right redhawks down to -5.... So here;s a recap it opened @ -6.5 @ bookmaker moved quickly to -7.5 and now to -5. I am going to start reading some stuff to try and figure out whats going on but this may just be one of the books tricks I may even put more on this play yet.

Adding units to my POD pick:

St. Joseph's  -5 for 30 units... Thats right another 30 units please to me it's basically a hedge to the -7.5 iv'e already layed with them cause i'm definetly not going to buy off this pick and set up a chance at a middle which could result in a double loss. The bottom line here is this the Quakers have lost every home game by an average margin of 12.8ppg and here are those losses below:

11/21/09 Delaware L 94-97 (OT) L -5 (i can't believe the books had them favored here)

11/24/09 Drexel  L 49-58  L 4.5

12/08/09 Albany  L 60-78 no spread

01/13/10 Temple L 45-60  W 17.5

01/20/10 La Salle L 57-76  L 9.5

 

So theirs the line up of teams that have had no problem with the Quakers this season. And if you include the rest of their losses this season the average margin of defeat goes up from 12.8ppg to 19.25ppg. And look at their only win so far below:

01/06/10 @ MD Baltimore Cty W 82-71

I'm seriously we could probably round up 7-8 guys from here on cover's and beat MD Baltimore Cty 1-19 (0-8 H) . So im convinced teh only way we lose this Redhawks pick tonight would be something very shady if you ask me but the risk is well worth it to me after looking at all these numbers. And now their giving us more value please sign me up for more money on this one..POD

Liked it when I first saw last night.  Like it even more now.  I did the same thing earlier and bet early -7  then doubled up on -5.  BOL and I sure hope Martelli's not in any financial bind where he has to do something shady.  Thats the only way Penn covers, either line.

30 Units (which I'm assuming is alot) on St. Joe's takes some balls. 30 Units on a Big 5 game takes some BIG balls. I hope it hits for you.

yeah i know a may have went off the deep end on teh amount risked here but i definetly am not puuting my house or other important things on the line as I would never do that. But yes I have a hefty amount on the line in this one

Did I see you were looking at furman?  I been looking at that game trying to get a feel...thinking about pulling the trigger.  Gotta look at a few more things

Im very close to playing it for about around 10 units... gonna go take a final look at as iv'e been busy most of today with the kiddies

Adding:

Furman ML -125 for 10 units... I had a nice lean on furman based being @ home and tehy average 70ppg but noticed that they only shot 40% from the field but then I seen Volstud's post below that says Furman average's 75possessions per game and Samford only average's 57possesion's per game leading to a more aggressive explaing that tehy should be more aggressive than Samford tonight. Thanks Volstud good stuff bro...

Syracuse / Georgetown 2nd half over 76.5 for 10 units... The shooters are getting their touch I hit a small wager on the 1st under 69 (not posted) now i think the 2nd half should fly over...

What are your thoughts on Furman -1 2H?  I know you already got them money for the game but they ended that half pretty strong.  Samford seems pretty tired now (it is there 3rd road in 5 days), no score last 4 min. and outscored 20-10 last 8 min.
