I went to the Y. Don&#x27;t mess with coffee, alcohol, drugs, premarital sex those are the rules. Don&#x27;t break them. You have to sign the thing when you go there. If you don&#x27;t want to adhere then don&#x27;t go to the Y. Pretty easy. To be honest I find it pretty amazing that we get any decent athletes at the Y; the no girls and no partying would seem to be pretty big deterrents. It bums me out because I don&#x27;t think we&#x27;re going very far in the tourney now and also a key player on a team in most any other conference would pretty much have to go to jail to get kicked off the team but even though I do hate it; I understand it.

I am very familar with the LDS religion and I have a good feeling he got caught either A. drinking or B. having sex on campus. Come off a major win, you are a major part of that win, you are one of only a few black guys on campus with a chance to get laid and everybody knows you are an athlete because the city has very few blacks and it is the perfect storm.

I was shocked to see he was from Provo as he should know better than to put himself in this situation. This is what BYU uses to bring in their recruits.

One of my west coast connections told me he got caught with a Caucasian woman getting it on. I ain’t mad at him for getting it on, however why in the world would YOU enroll at an Institution that prohibits that behavior. I see why BYU doesn’t get blue-chip recruits now! Hell, I’m surprised Jim McMahon was able to play four years without getting in trouble, because you know he was making some things happen with the sexy mama’s in Provo!

Exactly. And also McMahon was always in trouble. No clue how we get/got any decent athletes especially considering you can go to the University of Utah 40 min up the road if you really want to go to school Utah and want to party.

I will say the majority of students are LDS who grew up with these rules so it's not really as hard as it sounds, but knowing what I know now I have no clue why people who have grown up partying would commit to a school where you will be kicked out for partying.
