CMJ you are right. Value is a captain and I should respect that. I shouldn't of posted a chirp. I apologize Value. But last night you were so adament about Ariz St it was ridiculous. Better coach, smarter team, better clutch shooter etc.
It wasn't only me trying to CONVINCE you to come over to the RIGHT side. That's what covers is all about, playing devil's advocate. What's better than winning money???
NOT LOSING MONEY
Boeheim was the far better coach, and that lead them to play smarter than the Sun Devils.
The Big East is FAR better than the Pac 10. Anyone who has studied CBB this year should know that.
And Devendorf AKA White Chocolate Jr AKA Kid Rock Jr AKA Big Shot Bob Jr. is one of the most CLUTCH shooters in the nation
I have watched silly amounts of Big East hoops these past few seasons. Silly. Not as much of the Pac 10 I'll be honest. But anytime i saw another game outside the Big East this season, it looked like high school ballers. The East had so much size and strength. Everyone else seemed shorter, slower, less seasoned. It was clear to me Pitt would dominate the East. They owned the Big East tourney last year and returned practically the entire team. Uconn WAS for real...until Dyson went down. He was the glue to that team. Louisville should get exposed as the tournament progresses. ATLEAST 2 of the 3 Big East 1 seeds will get into the Final 4 (I'll be there @ FORD FIELD across the pond in Detroit). The CUSE came out of nowhere. But there are reasons why. Johnny Flynn flew under the radar all year. Oh Uconn this or Pitt that. He is a PLAYER. Guy just flat out gets it done.. Devendorf as mentioned is BIG SHOT BOB JR. Simply put he hits big shots. Onauaku is a legit big man and can bang witht the best. Rick Jackson is not that far behind. Leo Rautins' (head of Canada basketball) is a STUD shooter. Not many can catch it off the high screen and drop a 3 so effortlessly. Harris is a young James Posey. Does a little bit of everything on a winning team. Knows his role and does it phenominally.
It doesn't take a genius to stop Ariz St. Isolate Harden and double Pendergraft, not hard in a 2/3. Every 3 was challenged because you can't get caught by a screen or out of position as easily playing in a 2/3.
Anyways
I'm just trying to point out that covers is more than an outlet for getting winning plays, it's a great tool to use to critique your plays. Value had no solid points, no apparent research, and no clue on the proper side of that game. I know if I'm on the wrong side of a game I'd like to be persuaded out of it. Then once I saw this Zona blows first round thread and I stopped and chirped. Thank you for calling me out CMJohnson.
Again Value I apologize for calling you out
GL in the future
