Big Ten could very well be 6-1 after today.

Yeah except everyone shits on the big 10 all year cause they look ugly....but they like to do a little something called play defense

Disclaimer to my post: I am not saying the big 10 is anywhere near the Big East however everyone dismisses them.

The Big East has definitely shown that they are the best conference, followed by the Pac 10. The Big 10 is looking better than the SEC in my opinion, but the bottom teams are still bad. The Big 10 has impressive top teams though.

It is funny how big east is 5th in RPI and big ten has ALWAYS been laughed at this season and look where we are now.

I am a big east fan so I am qualifying my statement, but how sick if uconn pulls that out even after the injury, and big east is 9-0?  Damn San diego, next time I am there I am going to litter and smoke, they hate that stuff

not a big east homer.  personally i think conference homers are the gayest thing ever, but you sure are an acc one.  big east has proven they are way better then acc give it up already.

I was around.... not sure where you were.  I am a UVA fan anyways.  They are going to win the CBI   But if UNC wins the national championship... you sure won't see me making posts ACC is god's gift to earth

Big East has proven to be the best conference this year, once again. Woop has refused to acknowledge this from day one. He has also refused to admit the ACC has had a down year this year and the top teams, other than UNC,  (Duke, Clemson) were hyped more than they should have been because they are part of the ACC. UNC is a legit title contender.

The Big East on the other hand has Gtown and Lville who are probably the top of the Big East and then Marquette, Pitt, Nova, WVU have shown to be extremely difficult competition for just about any team in the country. UConn lost, unfortunately, but it was mostly due to the injury suffered by Price. I thought UConn would make it to the sweet 16 at best so don't try pulling that homer crap.

Next year though... Big East seems to be shaping out to be the best conference again. There might even be 3-4 teams in the top 10 next year if everyone stays.

Cuse, UConn, Lville, Gtown could all be contending for a title next year if everyone stays.

Then teams like Nova, WVU, Marquette, Pitt will be very tough teams to play but probably don't have all the parts to put a championship run together.

The Big East in basketball is like the SEC in football. Year in and out they will most likely be the best conference. Unlike all the other conference the Big East is so large and thus jsut about every style of play is played by a team in the Big East. THat allows the Big East teams to be ready for any style of play. IN addition the Big East seems to allow more contact than other conferences (maybe other than the Big Ten) and this seems to bode well for the teams come March.
