I'm in BigXII country... but the Big East by far the most brutal conference in basketball (It's the best).... This is a rare down year in regards to not having top heavy teams....
The ACC is a good conference, but IMO usually over-rated. Duke and NC are normally the real deal.... but this conference has really fallen off...
Mary, GT, FSU, MiaFl, WF, Clem, VT, BC, NCst, and VA, .... these teams aren't bad, but not great... ie, these teams would not compete for a conference championships in the BigXII, SEC, Big East, Big10, Pac10...
Hopefully, for the ACC sake, all these teams are young and just re-building.... BC has been very good over the years and I know thay are young...
But game in/game out... year in / year out... the Big East is brutal conference to have to play through.
People need to learn to watch basketball instead of talking about stuff they have no clue about....How in the world would any of those teams compete with Duke and UNC every year to win Conference titles ?? They wouldnt......The ACC is young and they still have a bunch of ranked teams in the top 25...... A young Duke team has already showed a mature Marquette team whats up....From top to bottom the ACC and PAC 10 dominate the rest of the leagues.....

The funniest part about his statement was teams like Clemson and Miami have fallen off so greatly. Yet they are both undefeated and ranked 15 and 22 in the country. Both with wins over Big East teams.

Anyone who doesn't have the PAC-10 as the best conference is a dope.
I'm an East Coast guy who has no favorite team, no bias.
After reading some of the above posts, I have a message to all of you homer, conference touting, my-team-can-do-no-wrong-fans out there...This is the Covers website, you might find yourself more comfortable at ESPN or CBS Sportsline, where you can chat your ra-ra BS with all your drippy nosed, male-cheerleader friends. We have serious topics to consider here. Move the pep rally down the street.
