50 Unit Club

Going to keep track of units from now until the end of the NCAA tourney. The goal is to make 50 units. Then put 20 units or so on the Championship game. I am posting for 2 reasons.

1. If i get to 50 units and anyone tails and wins, that is what this forum is for right, helping each other out.

2. I am what you may call a degenterate, if there are games out there i am probably playing them. So to post and keep track i am going to have to limit my plays and only play my real confident plays, in other words this is to help me stay disciplined, and that can be hard to do.

The units that i am going to play are 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 (will not be many of the 12 unit plays, we will see though)

Anyway, good luck if you tail any of these plays.

Good start but are you putting any thought into these or just throwing darts?  I mean, why post plays based on your research without sharing at least a couple thoughts as to why you're making them?

Tonight I like Under 128.5 in K-state (4 units).

Both teams like to slow the game down and both play good solid defense. Tech's D is really getting better as the season goes on. K-State's offense on the road is very inconsistent, they are going to have to play good defense to stay in this game. I think this will be one of those slow grind out games. Hopefully no fouls at the end!

I also thought about the Florida over and Clemson under but will not play them. Going to stick with only K-state under 128.5 for the early game. May have another play or two later.

Elite Guy- is this write up sufficient for you?

Bradley under 130.5 (1 unit)- that's what they do, they go under. Banking that Wichita State doesn't get in the 80's.

The last pick for the night is SDSU TT over 71. I am scratching my head on this one.


SDSU is going to come in angry after losing their last time out, they are going to put the wood to San Jose St tonight. I was contemplating taking them -20.5 but will settle for the TT over 71.
The last time they played SDSU won 75-50, this game was at San Jose. SDSU shot 39% from the floor, including just 2-13 from 3 point range (15%). Yet they still put up 75 pts on the road.
This San Jose State team is garbage this year and SDSU's defense will lock them down tonight and get plenty of garbage points on fast breaks.


Playing SDSU TT over 71 for 4 units.

Rutgers/UCF over 147- 1 unit..... no defense played in this game, both teams will get up and down. Last time they played score was 85-75, should be about the same this time around.

Nebraska/Illinois under 125- 2 units..... Nebraska really needs this game to keep their tourney hopes alive, looking for their D to step up here, also Illinois is a very slow paced team and their offense is terrible.

Might have another play or two later.

Bad call on Rutgers over.

Just needed a FT for the push or both for the W and Ridley missed the front end of the 1/1. Happens.

Adding 2 more plays for tonight.

Middle Tenn St +7....1 unit..... Should be a close game with L Tech leading scorer not playing.

Iowa/Indiana- over 146.5....4 units....up and down, up and down. Indiana plays fast when their opponent lets them and that's just what will happen tonight.

So far 2-2 and up 2.5 units on the night.

Over 146.5 Indiana PENDING, but looking very, very good. 101 pts scored in the first half!!!

UC Irvine -4 PENDING

Adding Oregon +3 for 4 units...and under 152.5 in Oregon for 1 unit.
