I try to follow this thread....

I usually see +4.5 as a 2nd half play....

Can someone explain why St Petes +4.5 wasnt a play??

And seems everyone was on Miami -4, but Nc St opened +4.5??

 

Good thing Miami hit that 3 ball down 9 or it was a loser

99% of the time it depends on the JUICE....If that helps you out in anyway?

So if juice opens up at 4.5 -130 its a play?

If you play every 4.5 game your just setting your self up for broke. If you want to wager all the time on it so be it I look deep into every game and crunch my numbers 4 to 5 times on each game so when I take it I hit at a higher rate

Ok....but what makes 1 +4.5 a play over another???

Just trying to get an edge and figure out good plays.

 

Seems like both 4.5 were winners til a late 3 ball.

What makes sense to me I play if I doubt it I lay off

Its just a # that for the past 3 years has hit at a higher percentage than any other, but like i said you have to factor in the juice and movement. thats why these 2nd half plays are not given out sometimes until just before 2nd half tipoff. juice movement plays a big factor in deciding which way to go.. Nug will explain it more in depth for you im sure..GL:

THIS IS VERY TRUE ALOT OF PEOPLE ONLY SEE THE SPREAD AND OVER UNDER BUT ITS A HELL OF ALOT MORE TO CAPPING THESE GAMES IN 10 MINUTES AND MAKE SURE I FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY WAGER ON A SATURDAY I CAP MAYBE 20 GAMES IN 10 MINUTES SIDES OVER UNDERS AND I CAP THEM 3 TO 4 TIMES A PIECE TO MAKE SURE I DIDNT MISS ANYTHING

I'm glad you brought this up Nug about the 4.5. There are several numbers that I have used in the past for halftime bets that seem to hit at a higher % than others, but you never play them blindly.

Its almost as if since people have found out about what they think to be the "magical" 4.5 halftime line thats all they bring into the thread.

Its amazing how you can bet on a team because of this number and not look at any other factors surrounding the game and the circumstances.

I know you do only 2nd halves....but I read, and notice a good 1st half trend in college with teams -6....and teams -9.5 as well....

 

Just something to keep an eye on....

Play of the day-49ers-NYG over-wait un til it drops even further-rain isn't the issue, in fact there might be more offense-WR's know where they're going and Smith is now a legit threat especially against the Giants secondary...

They scored 47 without both teams passing like they do now and I posted KC ML vs GB, Denver ML over Pitt and NYG ML last week...if you need references...

The public is freakin out over the rain too...
