XRP is by far and away the best for multiple reasons...

platform is ALREADY being used by AmEx and a network of hundreds of asian banks especially all the banks and government in Japan..... they are actively talking to governments and institutions to be used and are an actual company, whereas all other cryptos are not a company rather just a decentralized network of programmers programming and not trying to work with governments or institutions...no relationships

and IF/WHEN the US government tries to get involved, which they willl, XRP is already building those relationships and is less likely to get shut down, or be heavily regulated/taxed, as others will be since they are not butting in work to be  transparent

at this point i have roughly the same % allocation    i put 15k into ripple at .24 and another 10k between .50 and .79 so it's doing well at this point....i'm going to hold until at least $7.50, because that makes the market cap around 300 billion which is what bitcoin peaked at , approximately

i am an investment management consultant....have 3 of my own businesses...essentially just manage real estate and investments for a select group of hnw private clients.... mainly in CA and FL, a few other states but most states don't require registration or a business if you have below a certain threshold of clients, usually 5-6, and / or assets under management, usually 25-100MM within that state  so if you structure it right, you can operate simply as an s-corp or sole proprietor in your home state...CA sucks though bc you have to pay tax on worldwide income and state tax is 13.4% so effective tax bracket above 50%.... but now with trump tax cut, i can keep all money in my entities and my taxes go down substantially. gotta love it AMERICAAAAAA

or you can do it under your own account if more comfortable and you already have one open....a lot of the issue now is that no one can get an account open and verified to fund quickly.... over 100k+ users are opening accounts at all these exchanges daily...they don't have the bandwidth to open the accounts and keep up or literally even keep the site functioning...many sites have had extended outages...
